   Service was great and the food was delicious! Or your a peach lover you will want to try the peach Bellini it a frozen peach lover’s dream. This was my second time here and I will be returning again. Hope you all enjoy this Italian dining experience at The Golden Nugget Lake Chalres.

   Our waiter was very nice. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name. We had the PAGLIA E FIENO CON POLLO and WILD MUSHROOM pizza. Delicious

   Busy night. Kale was a fantastic server. Very enjoyable. Bit noisy but everyone was having fun. We love the grotto.

   Menu was very limited compared to the Houston and Galveston restaurants. Calamari was too chewy Pizza crust was not edible because crust was burnt to a crisp. It was late and not fond of returning food so we just ate the center. If we want Italian food we will probably just wait till we are back in Houston.

   The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I was surprised that the menu was really small and there wasn't a lot of choices on it anymore. That was the only disappointing part.

    Poor overall. Bread was hard as a rock. Could not cut into it with a knife. Server kept coming to table numerous times asking if we needed something. Kept interrupting us. Very annoying. The pasta was overcooked ie., crispy. I could not eat it. Mgr. Brought a small dish of pasta to the table that appeared to have some oil on it rather than a sauce. Only 3-4 tables had patrons on a Fri. Night. This restaurant has serious issues. Menu is poor. They have a bigger wine list than the food list. The restaurant needs to close if they cannot do better.
