The staff were super friendly, especially two boys at the front of the house who sat us down and were very accommodating when we wanted to move from inside to outside. Even took photos of us so we didn't have to take selfies :) One waitress spilt water on me, but she was very apologetic and cleared it quickly.

We came here for some after work drinks and food. A great option for booking a table, table service was great, lots of yummy cocktails, but also has beer. The food was so good we ordered extra! The staff were great.

Everything was good. But I am tired of always being allocated the same table by the loos, on the sofa, where the person on the sofa side is restricted by a pillar. This time I asked for a different table and I was not allowed. It reminded me of the Larry David sketch when he is not allowed to sit on the side of the restaurant for the good looking people! What is the rule here for table allocation?

Music far too loud. Nice place, but wouldn't book again as couldn't have a conversation or eat comfortably. Had to chase staff for food order and music was ridiculously loud. Like being in a night club as opposed to a bar and restaurant. Girls at the table next to us also left as the music was too loud.

I’m vegetarian and I ordered charred cabbage and to my disappointment it was literally small sized, half a grilled cabbage which wasn’t even cooked properly, had no flavour at all and came with nothing to go with it. As a vegetarian I felt there weren’t many options on the menu and was absolutely disappointed with dish. Plus my summer fruits juice came 1/3 of the glass empty. Not happy with it at all this time.

Food was fine. Service was very slow. Fair enough it was busy, but there was no communication/warning of the food delay. Had to ask when some dishes didn’t arrive. Had to ask for the bill. No check in on quality of meal.

Grind has a varied menu ideal for a light, healthy or indulgent/heavy lunch. We sat outside on the sunniest of days. The service was friendly and attentive. Staff were a joy and super helpful. A great spot in the heart of Liverpool Street. Dont hestitate to visit even for a coffee or cocktail. It was a colleagues birthday and we did write this on the booking confirmation but they didnt acknowledge this on the day. Never mind.
