my experience at greystone was wonderful. I had the salmon and my spouse had the wagyu. Everything from our arrival to departure was absolutely phenomenal with a polite and accommodating staff to top it all off. I would highly recommend greystone for your next dinner!

Fillet looked like it was the last freezer burnt one they had. Elote tasted like burnt corn and creamed spinach was more like spinach soup. Bread finally came just before we finished. It was cold. Won’t be going back.

I have been dining here for years, and Sara always rolls out red carpet for us! The Buffalo tenderloin was my favorite but is not available anymore. My new fave is the filet medium with a port wine reduction, sautéed mushrooms and oscar style! The tuna poke is delicious, including the clams and mussels app! Save room for flambe cake dessert. Great presentation and party starter.

Greystone steakhouse is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at. From our arrival, to our final bite- just about everything was perfect. We had the most wonderful filet mignon, cooked to absolute perfection, the salmon (to die for) and the truffle Mac and cheese to pull it all together. We will certainly be returning soon. Thank you greystone for such a wonderful experience!!

Our group was seated on the patio despite having a reservation and the limited space, luke warm temperatures of what should have been hot items, and bland food are amongst many reasons we will not return. It felt as if we were constantly passing food, used plates or drinks through one another for wait staff as there wasn’t enough space for them to get to most of us (not ideal for a business meeting). Each time someone needed to go to the restroom we had to ask another patron to slide in their chair. The area has many unhoused individuals that made dinner uncomfortable on the patio selling flowers or panhandling. Beers took longer to arrive than cocktails each round, the server didn’t know the soup option on the preset menu so it was a surprise, the wedge salad had next to zero dressing yet the Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. It was clear that due to the size of the party and the auto gratuity, bottles of wine were being suggested frequently and those of us that didn’t drink wine were constantly being offered a glass. The desert was the highlight of the menu. Never again.

We didn’t like paying for wagu steak $180 when have all fat and not able to eat, a lot of noise, I request special event for anniversary but they forgot just until the end bringing desert to cover their mistake Hopefully management see this review because I’m not coming back. Sorry but they slack to much on service and steaks are not the same on quality but for sure more expensive after years eating here No more

We dined on the patio on a Tuesday night (our traditional date night). The entire staff was friendly and courteous. The GM, Sara, said hello. We slid down a rabbit hole of the rich history of the building Greystone’s occupies. We had no idea. Our server Michael was cheerful and knowledgeable. The food and service and ambiance could not have been better. Thank you Greystone’s.

Our experience on Sunday was memorable. We simply wanted to relax in the Gaslamp, have a small bite to eat, and enjoy a little Scotch outside on the patio. We each had a 16 year-old Lagavulin single malt at the end of the evening. I should have taken a photo because the large ice cube in our glasses was perfectly clear. When I asked our server, Michael, about this he said some of the ice they make is processed in small batches by using a “Ghost Ice” machine. WOW moments add up and that was a WOW moment. Sara, the general manager, stopped by and said hello for a few minutes. Later, Sara surprised us with a creme brûlée. We. Will. Be. Back.

We have been going to Greystone off and on for years. What we loved (besides the food, ambiance, and service) was the live music. It was one man (Barry Cohen) and his guitar playing fun classics. The music was not the center of attention but it was there and in the background and delightful.
