Dinner was served before we finished our appetizer. A pause between the two would have been nice. I had rice and black beans as a side that was too salty to my taste.

We were at a local B&B and made a reservation at this tavern. We were very pleased. The food was delicious and prices very reasonable. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and everyone seemed so happy. Loved the warm pretzel instead of bread that was brought to the table and the vegan options on the menu. We took a menu back to our B&B so others could find this treasure.

Calamari, shrimp taco and risotto were great! Rest of our meals only ok..cheesecake was a Sara Lee equivalent.

Oooooo, the food was delicious. Had the brussel sprouts and cauliflower appetizer. Cooked to perfection. Salad with fried goat cheese and salmon. I asked for rare and came out a little overdone and bland but I liked the dressing!

My weekly lunch with my friend, landed us in New Hartford this week, at The Grey Area Tavern. We drive from the Bronx to Hartford to find good eats all on my recommendations. Our waiter was great, the turkey wrap, sweet potato fries, grilled chicken sandwich with fries, and fried mozz, was all delicious. We normally don't repeat the establishments but we will be back here, it was that good. MLOVE
