   Everything was delicious! It was so great to be able to eat everything on the menu and not worry about whether or not it was vegan!! Arancini was so good and the cheese plate made my heart so happy!! Highly recommend whether you are vegan or not!

   Server was great. Never rushed. We love the cauliflower small plate, but our mushroom burger lacked taste compared to other vegetarian burgers in this city, Still, we will be back to try more.

   Wow. This place is incredible. So many great flavors and all vegan and gluten free - seriously unbelievably good!

   We got there and were seated decently quick. We then were served water and our orders taken. We did not see the waiter for 30 more minutes. No drinks or appetizers or anything. We ran out of water waiting and eventually left as all other tables had been served their orders except ours.

   I am an omnivore, and Greenhouse Canteen is one of my favorite restaurants. Don’t let the “gluten free and vegan” scare you off. My vegetarian son loves the place as well. Restaurant week menu is wonderful to get a sampling of the food at a good price. My roasted beets and brussel sprouts were delicious. They would be perfect in winter but still tasty in July. My son’s “fish and chips” were absolutely delicious and perfectly done. And HUGE portions. His strawberry shortcake was a bit better than my affogato, and the shortcakes were dense and wonderfully spiced. Cocktails were delicious.

   First food was excellent! The server was very good. There were 4 of us and we tried different food items and all tasted great. It’s so nice to find a vegan sit-down restaurant with more than just sandwiches. (Mac’n cheese, BBQ mushrooms, fettuccini ala vodka, jackfruit enchiladas - all very good.) Also several fun and tasty cocktails. We arrived at 5:30 on a Wednesday, only ones there, but before long more diners showed up. A large group of 8-10 and 3 other tables for 2. There was only 1 server who had to be hostess, take and deliver orders and bus the tables so service ended up being slow - however the server was so pleasant and never lost her cool you could not be upset about slow service. One big problem, it was 84° outside and no air inside. Not sure if broken or cost savings, but it made it rather uncomfortable. If the place had been packed, it would have been unbearable. Noise level: high. Because of high ceilings and hard wall & ceiling surfaces it got hard to hear conversation at table as everyone was talking louder to hear each other at all tables. Did not know until going to restroom there is a small (5-6 seats?) sit down bar behind dining area. Would go back to sit there and sample some of the wines on the menu and try more dishes and cocktails!

    I’ve always turned my nose up to vegetarian, yet had a friend in town and wanted to honor her diet. OMG I’ve never had such amazing food. Who knew jackfruit tasted exactly like chicken!!! I was blown away by not only the taste, but the beauty of each dish. Huge proportions too - we left feeling very satisfied. Would recommend a hundred times over - and that is coming from a red meat lover!
