   Really good breakfast and reasonably priced for Nashville. Server was good, but he was covering the entire restaurant so there were so coffee refills were at a premium.

   The G&D team met and exceeded expectations (again). This restaurant has become one of our favorite places to eat, especially before shows at TPAC. Our server asked about our plans for the evening and paced things well to ensure we enjoyed our meal but also got on our way on time for the show. The smoked beats were outstanding…as were the falafel and burger. And we enjoyed our drinks as well. Service was great, too. We will look forward to our next meal at G&D!!

   I had a dietary restriction for a medical reason and the chef could have modified the food but refused to do so First restaurant to do this

   Get the Brussel sprouts!!! I had the pork chop, a friend had the chicken and another the falafel. Crème brûlée was so so. Very cool vibe, friendly waiter. I would recommend this restaurant.

    Amazing place, food, and service. Sammi(?) was fun and energetic, very attentive. Highly recommend the three dips as a starter. Great flavors. Both the chicken and pork were cooked to perfection. I’ll come back to G&D anytime I’m in Nashville. The penguins are a plus!

    We were staying at the 21c hotel and decided to try the restaurant before going to a concert. We’re so happy we did! The food was delicious! We had spicy sprouts, homemade Mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes and the half chicken. Ended the meal with the cookies. Yummy! Everything came out beautifully and was so delicious. We went back for breakfast in the morning and that was also simple yet delicious. Both meals had excellent service, all staff we encountered were welcoming and attentive.

    The food was good, the service was prompt and attentive, and the ambience was nice. My niece and I dined at 5:00 p.m., which meant that there were few other diners and very little noise. We both enjoyed our dinners and would return again.

    Service was extremely slow. Took nearly 90 minutes to get entrees. When food arrived it was cold and sent back. The server apologized alot, and did comp parts of the meal. This was the second bad experience I’ve had here. It is not fine dining. It is not worth the price of the food.

    Awesome brunch menu and drinks. The wait staff had room for improvements (hostess could not have wanted to be there less and it showed, and server forgot my husband’s drink a few times) but the food was amazing and totally worth it.

    We had dinner at Gray & Dudley downtown on January 30. We were met by a friendly, confident, and capable host, servers, and staff. We were impressed by the quality of the service. The setting was quiet and the lighting was good. It was a really good vibe. We both had the Pork chop with sautéed green beans, and fried crisp Jerusalem artichoke chips. It was an excellent entree. We did fries as an appetizer and they’re delicious. They use a two day process to make them crisp and the sauces are great. Great food, good wine, good atmosphere and a wonderful staff made for a perfect night out. The great news is that it doesn’t burn your wallet either. We already look forward to going back.     I would rush to this place in a heartbeat. The service was a tiny bit slow, but nothing that would keep me from coming back. Our waiter, Joel, was very good at communicating and we never felt ignored. Also did a great job coursing our meal out so that we didn't feel rushed. Also, amazing bourbon collection!!

    Were in town for a wedding and went to here Friday night for a bite to eat. Ordered appetizers , Mac n cheese and hamburger and fries. Everything was truly scrumptious, excellent quality food. Yes it’s pricey but you’re in Nashville everything you eat is going to be pricey. I liked the ambience. It was relaxed. Great staff who were outgoing, friendly attentive. If I find myself back in Nashville I would go back again.

    The environment was incredible and the waitstaff was nice; but the menu was disappointing. There were a handful of entrees to choose from and they were all bland. It’s the first time in a really long time my husband and I didn’t know what to order because the choices were underwhelming. I ended up piecemealing a meal from shareable items- seasonal veggie, small salad, steak tartar. The seasonal veggie was fried brussel sprouts- they were good. The salad was ho-hum and the steak tartar was flavorless. I was pretty disappointed in the menu! I was hoping for either something unique and spicy, a fun pasta dish, or something duck, goat or another unique meat. The ambience was beautiful and walking around the art was fun- I wish the menu was more fun!

    Food was not great. Service was rushed. Waiter was not the most friendly, asked for a cup of ice twice, and just did not have a friendly energy. Ordered 3 dips, pimento cheese was a bowl of cheese and oil, babaganoush tasted nothing like it, steak tartar had no seasoning whatsoever.

    Wonderful dinner here - a very nice respite from the chaotic fun of Broadway. Quiet so you can enjoy great conversation. Excellent service. Easy walk from Bridgestone Arena. Really enjoyed it.
