About this restaurant

  • Great for outdoor dining
  • Great for brunch
  • Good for groups
We’re not out to take the San Diego beer scene by storm or reinvent the wheel because the truth is, there’s no shortage of good breweries in San Diego. Instead, our aim is to pair that good beer with the same delicious food, exceptional service and genuine hospitality we’re known for so you never have to compromise one for the other again. Situated in Mission Valley, our 9,000 square foot brewpub includes a full service restaurant, an expansive and lush outdoor beer garden, and a pretty stellar team to make sure you always have good food in your mouth and a solid beer in your hand.

Everyone was super nice and easy going. A little disorganized when the food came out, no one knew which table had what food. Great happy hour menu, good selection of beers and cocktails

Everything was almost perfect! I booked this restaurant for my birthday- noted it in the reservation, but the host never acknowledged it at checkin. The server also never did anything or acknowledged it even after my family told him it was my bday, so that was very disappointing. Max was a super friendly and great server who gave delicious recommendations. The food was really good as well! We’ve been three times now, and never had a bad meal. Just disappointing to not feel celebrated!

I went here for a lunch with friends and everyone really enjoyed their food . Everything was delicious and the portions were a good size. I had the fish tacos and the fish was perfectly cooked . They have a good selection of cocktails and also drinks without alcohol which was nice . We all agreed we would come back here. The service was very friendly. I got a cinnamon roll to take home and it was amazing , probably one of the best I’ve had. I would recommend this place , it seems like a good place to gather with people to celebrate something or just for a casual brunch, lunch or dinner, they have a nice dog friendly patio which is always a plus for me.

If you prefer indoor seating, make sure you specify as such in the “special requests” text box. For whatever reason, Gravity Heights doesn’t prompt you to make a selection for indoor or outdoor seating, and our experience was that you will be seated outside by default if you don’t enter a note indicating a preference for indoors.

It was my very first time there. Ordered off the happy hour menu. Was going to order two items from it and a cocktail. One of the items they were out of so I just got the smash burger with fries. However, I ordered a cocktail. The cocktail was taking a long time (literally over 15 minutes). The waitress saw that I was looking around so she came over to tell me that my cocktail was going to take a bit longer because the two bartenders were "overwhelmed". To me, it didn't seem all that busy where it would "overwhelm" TWO bartenders. Maybe they needed more experience? I don't know, but when my food finally came I ended up cancelling my drink order as I really wanted to enjoy it before my meal. Disappointed. Not sure I'll go back again.

This was such a great find! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service, and really tasty food and cocktails. We were able to easily find parking right across from the restaurant - even on a Friday night. Huge win! Everything was creative and thoughtful. We were obsessed with the Tikka Masala pot pie and the roasted cauliflower, in particular. We will definitely return! Our awesome server, Leah, even said the patio is dog (and adventure cat!) friendly. This was easily the best place we ate while on vacation in San Diego.
