In keeping with our mission of creating a restorative place for folks to come and be refreshed in the heart of our orchard, Katrina McAlexander planted a vineyard in 2016 and began plans to open the Grateful Vineyards Tasting Room.
Katrina is a 3rd generation farmer, fermenter, and nurse practitioner. Grateful Vineyard opened Memorial Day weekend of 2019 as the very first winery/cidery/brewery in Mount Hood, Oregon and the southernmost vineyard in the Columbia River Gorge. Weaving together farming, fermentation and hospitality fills Katrina’s life with joy and meaning.

Lovely experience, beautiful setting, great food, friendly staff, everything you could want for an evening out. One of my favorite places in the Hood River Valley area. I come back every time I visit.

Grateful Vineyard is a must! We had incredible views as we ate wood fired pizza, fondue etc and sipped our ciders. The people were so kind.

It’s such a lovely setting with the mountain in full view and the grapes growing beautifully. Our flight of wine, beer, pizza and salad were delicious. Well done, Grateful Vineyard!

Pizza is amazing, but the new menu pricing structure is kinda crazy in a bad way. Views of Hood are gorgeous and the service is great.

Grateful Vineyard always delivers an incredible experience! You can’t beat the the food, wine, and view! It’s simple the best in ALL of Hood River. Apple picking at the Mountain View Orchard was a serious bonus round afterwards! Go do it all!

Service was terrible. Had a reservation and 20 min after being seated we finally caught a waiters attention and asked if he could take our order. We had just driven in from Pendleton and were hungry. Also the way they price their food is funky. We ended up paying $120 (w/ tip) for a pizza, cheese board, wine flight and apple cider.
