Owned and operated by husband and wife, Chef Joel and Lani Gargano, coupled with warm and knowledgeable hospitality and a creative and experience kitchen team with Grano Arso is the neighborhood go-to eatery for wholesome cooking, Italian wine, local beers, and specialty cocktails. We invite you to come and experience what community means to us!

***Please note for large parties of 6 and more there is a service charge of 22%. There is a prix fixe menu requirement for parties of 7 to 12 with a service charge of 22% and 50% deposit. Guests will need to have the restaurant book large parties and will not be able to do so on Opentable.***

    This is one fantastic and creative restaurant! Although it can be noisy on a busy night, it's well worth the effort. Highly recommended!

    Wonderful Wonderful! Our Server was very attentive and friendly without ever being stuffy.Food was So good I bought a gift card for a family member to cone give it a try. Bottom line: I will certainly go back.

    All the food was delicious. This is probably my new favorite restaurant. Went with two other couples and we all sampled eachother’s food and everything was excellent.

    We had the six course tasting menu with wine pairings and it was exceptional. We love Gran Arso and had high expectations but they were impressively exceeded 😋 We had planned to take advantage of their three course special, which is always an amazing value, but we were both hungry and decided to go for it and so happy we did.

    The food was delicious and our waitress nichol was great describing the meals and help us decide on what to order. She help us celebrate my birthday! Very grateful!

    As always, excellent! It’s on the pricey side, so be prepared, but worth it. The home-made pastas and sauces are outstanding. Chicken is very tasty. McKensey was an excellent server. Chester is just a marvelous place to visit.
