Owned and operated by husband and wife, Chef Joel and Lani Gargano, coupled with warm and knowledgeable hospitality and a creative and experience kitchen team with Grano Arso is the neighborhood go-to eatery for wholesome cooking, Italian wine, local beers, and specialty cocktails. ***Please note for large parties of 6 and more there is a service charge of 22%. There is a prix fixe menu requirement for parties of 7 to 12 with a service charge of 22% and 50% deposit. Guests will need to have the restaurant book large parties and will not be able to do so on Opentable.***

    Always great. The staff are very friendly. The eggplant is top notch. Can’t skip the house baked bread.

    Service was delightful, food was delicious. Situated in a quaint old New England town full of charm. Truly a lovely experience. Can’t wait to go back.

    Grano has been a favorite of my family's for years. The complimentary toasted rye bread and butter appetizer is phenomenal - the best bread I've ever had. We always order the misticanza, and the endive and escarole salad was also delicious. We all ordered the same entree, the cavatelli with lamb sausage, peppers, and zucchini, and all agreed that it tasted bland. The lamb sausage and house-made cavatelli were both good, but the zucchini was undercooked, the peppers overcooked, and the sauce (which was more of a broth) seemed flat. We've had excellent entrees from Grano, but this one was a miss for us, especially for the price. The peach tart we had for dessert was delicious, though, as were our cocktails (especially the 18 Karat). Service was spectacular as always.

    trattoria menu was the bomb. exactly what I wanted. attractive and attentive waitstaff. their bread is beyond delicious.

    Third night in a row eating here. Everything about this restaurant words cannot describe it’s that good. Can’t wait till next week.

    One of my absolute favorite restaurants! Grano Arso never disappoints. The food is fantastic and the service is also fabulous. Cocktails are great too!

    I’m sorry to say this because I know reviews are important, so I will start with the fact the place was packed. Waiting to get in was 10 people thick. The menu looked good but the bread came out a bit burned and the pasta all a vodka was very bland. My husband and I switched dishes and I have to say his spaghetti was good, but had way too much fennel seed but still 10x better than my dish. The cocktails were good although the ’pour it yourself’ old fashioned was strange but tasted fine. I give them some credit because they were so busy. I just wish the pasta tried harder to be delicious. There was not great attention to diners, again so busy.
