   We were trying to hit the Lawless Brunch, but didn't realize it was only on Sundays. I'm not mad that we'll have to go again after this first experience. Everything was delicious, server was kind, and we had an impeccable time!

   Service was terrible, we had a reservation and were seated 15 min late. Our waitress was not very attentive. Manager was rude and tried to make excuses for the terrible service. Would definitely not go back. I live in South Bend and now understand why the Granite city there went out of business.

   The staff was very nice in providing concessions for our wait. We had a big party and our waiter was amazing. The manager gave us complimentary appetizers and was very accommodating.

    Always enjoy GraniteCity, but didn’t know our Easter reservation time was AFTER Sunday buffet finished 😟. So, we just menu-ordered; our meals were very tasty, server great, but still very disappointing to miss Sunday buffet. We’ll be back sometime when want to drive 40 miles again to GC.

    Not much variety, the only pasta salad was hot and full of bacon, no lamb, no dinner rolls, no gravy for prime rib, no garden salad, no “normal” desserts (cheesecake, brownie, etc.). Will not be going next year.

    Service was ten stars; our server and bar service were fantastic. The food, on the other hand, could have been better. I ordered the upgraded side of Waffle fries; six cold, hard fries showed up. The food, three sandwiches, took more than 40 minutes, and the restaurant was quiet. Still trying to figure out what happened, but this trip was a brutal miss. Again, excellent service from the wait staff and the bar staff, but the kitchen needs help!

    We had the Valentine’s special for two. The food was very good and portions were large. We ended up taking food home. The large cookie with ice cream was also delicious. Great service and great ambiance. We chose to sit in the bar area as we usually do.

    The restaurant was not adequately staffed. Our server was busy with a couple of large groups, which affected our service. We did get a discount because of the inconvenience, which was nice.

    We went for dinner and to celebrate my birthday and had outstanding food, drink and service. I have to say our server Ariel was amazing. The drink she suggested was the flying monkey, so tasty and refreshing. Then dinner, starting with the clam chowder soup, so creamy and yummy to the Chicken Tuscano entrée, so full of flavor, tender chicken, rice, tomatoes and my favorite fresh green beans! I'm not a big mashed potato gal so Ariel recommended the rice pilaf which did not disappoint. My husband and mom had the prime rib sandwich which they said was wonderful and my dad loved the all you can eat fish with coleslaw and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. Everyone finished their meals with smiles on their faces. There was also a cookie dessert topped with ice cream for my birthday which was warm and gooey. A great way to end the dinner. Thank you Ariel for making my birthday a great event. It was crazy busy last night at the restaurant but you always had a smile on your face and a great attitude. I wish you always worked Friday nights but I'm glad that we were blessed with you last night. Thank you Granite City for a great evening! We will be back!

    We made reservations and were seated right on time. Our waitress was amazing and our food came quickly. My husband had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. I had the Chicken and asparagus linguini. It was fine. Not very flavorful. We will go back to try other things and because he liked it. 🙂
