   The menu online was deceiving. There appeared to be an older menu linked that had pizza options but the actual menu when we arrived there didn’t. The food was okay-but the service was great.

   We tried Gran Gusto for the first time tonight. The atmosphere was intimate, the servers were knowledgeable & attentive. The beet salad was light & refreshing. The beef skewers were cooked perfectly & the mashed potatoes had great flavor. We recommend Gran Gusto for date night.

   A lot of potential but needs work. Need to lower the lights & create cozier vibe. Food was great and server was great but slow considering place was pretty empty. You need to put candles or small lamps on tables, lower lights and smile more & you’ll be a success,

   Made reservations to dine with friends. We were looking forward to ordering pasta mixed in the parmesan cheese wheel. We saw at a previous trip but had never ordered it. However, when we looked at the menu and asked our server about it, we found out it was no longer on the menu. Our server said there was a new executive chef, and the menu was even better than before. She also stated the bartender created all of the drinks on the menu. I ordered an espresso martini which was OK but not great. In the meantime, the manager called me from the restaurant on my cell phone. I had left several messages regarding hosting a private party and this is when I finally hear back. It had been several weeks. I told him I was at the restaurant and to please come and talk to me at our table. It was difficult for me to hear him. I also mentioned it to our server who said she would let the manager know I wanted to speak with him. Nobody ever came by and did not call back. My friend ordered a glass of wine with dinner which she asked for a 2nd time because it never came. When our meal was over, we saw another server bring bread to a table. We never got that either. Our server was very nice, but I didn't feel she knew the menu or was very experienced. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which came with house made potato chips. After she took our orders, she came back to the table and asked me if I wanted fries with the sandwich. She said nothing comes with the sandwich. I questioned her and then she remembered it came with chips. I do have to say that the fried artichokes were delicious! My friends said their pasta was good too. My sandwich was good, but we were looking for a different menu and different experience. Had we known the restaurant was closed for 2 weeks and the menu had changed we probably would have waited to view the new menu to decide if we wanted to go there or not. I would not recommend this restaurant until they work out the kinks.

   Menu completely different online then at restaurant, not very Italian; very limited menu compared to website. Bar completely dead yet drinks took very long to get to us. Lighting was also like an office … waiter was very nice; but overall disappointing

   I get the distinct impression this restaurant is winding down operations and will soon be closing its doors. We dined on a Friday evening of a holiday weekend, and the place was only about 30% full. The vibe was anemic. The staff didn't even bother to light the candles on any of the tables. The menu has been skinnied down considerably from what it used to be. The website says it's a trattoria and pizzeria -- but there's not a single pizza on the menu. There's not even any fried calamari for an Italian restaurant. In fact, the menu featured on the restaurant's website is a complete lie. Such a disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

   One star for everything bc we didn’t eat there. Why? Because although Open Table confirmed our reservation, when we got there the place was closed. A scrawled note on the front door said the staff was serving an offsite event.

   Lights were very bright, not lit for a nice dinner out. Very sweet brand new server who was attentive. Food was fine. Burrata was delicious, Romana salad is fairly average, as was the puttanesca. The cut of the day was a ribeye and they literally cut it into pieces and massively over salted it, made it difficult to enjoy.

   Waitress and servers were very nice. Drinks were sub par, pasta dishes undercooked and just overall not great. We waited over an hour for our appetizer (arancini, which were tasty) when the restaurant was half full, so just confused if they’re still working out kinks or just not sure how to prioritize tables. We wouldn’t come back, much better Italian places in the area.
