   We went on Valentine's Day. I never bother reviewing places, but our experience was especially poor. - We were seated at a window next to the Hilton drop-off area; cars would back up to our window (within 3' of our table), flash emergency lights in our face, etc. Off-putting. - We sat for about 10 minutes until they took our order. - The first course (lobster bisque) was almost inedibly salty. - After clearing the first course, we waited over 30 minutes for entrees. - My fish and grains were mildly flavored and served at a scorching temperature. - My wife's was disappointed with the wagyu ribeye—it was the fattiest piece of meat I've ever seen. I may be ignorant about wagyu, but it was no melt-in-your-mouth; more like deposits of decent steak within huge ribbons of 100% fat. - Dessert was nothing special. - We were both ill when we got home. All in all, we were severely disappointed at $60+ per person.

   It was certainly not worth the price. The soup was almost inedible it was so salty and cold. The steak was good but the fried gnocchi was not. It was flavorless and off putting. The desserts were phenomenal though! Our waitress neglected us through the first two courses and only filled up our water if we flagged her down. I was really disappointed in the whole experience.

   It was my birthday but we were here anyway due to an event. I had the $43 filet because it was my birthday. It was okay at best ...took an hour after ordering for our two top meal to arrive. That with no appetizers or salads or anything. Definitely not a $43 value meal. Unfortunately a typical subpar hotel restaurant meal though should be better due to location. It’ll due in a pinch for a hefty price... but there are other options a block away.

   I had a reservation and it was confirmed on Open Table and then when I arrived with my guests for our scheduled reservation it had been canceled by the restaurant. Very disappointing!

   The breakfast buffet was very expensive and then they added a surcharge for mother's day. Very sneaky. The food was good. Service was what you would expect for a buffet. Quite loud. Make sure they don't seat you by the buffet or you will become part of the line.

   We have been to Grain 4 times for Easter or Mothers Day Brunch. In the past we really enjoyed our brunch at the Hilton. However with new management Nothing online is accurate regarding the brunch buffet offering and nothing is close to as nice as the previous brunch's offered. There were no shrimp, oysters, lamb, crab legs/claws, prime rib etc. Instead there were breakfast foods (eggs/ bacon). ham, fried turkey, salad, potatoes and green beans. Not a bad presentation but nothing like the link online "Guide Live" or for that matter nothing like the previous 4 times we visited the hotel for brunch. Past experiences at the hotel for brunch offered significantly more choices for $60 per person. Instead the buffet was very limited and the price actually went up to $64. The deserts previously were hand made and had a huge variety now they all appeared to be bought from a grocery store and not made in house. They included a carrot cake and a pecan pie. Then to make matters worse on Monday were realized the restaurant charged us 2X for the meal. (Over $600) When we called the next day the MOD said it would take "some time" to research the issue. Then we were told by the MOD that we should just dispute the charge. So very unprofessional. I would certainly consider other options until the management has time to correct the shortfalls.

    Last year, we had a nice long table with white linen tablecloth. The décor changed and it was kind of loud with two other large groups - it felt more cafeteria-ish. The last few times I reserved there, it had a low to moderate noise level, and ambiance was classy. Service and food was very good.
