Great Food • Great Music • Great Craic, you’ll always feel like a local in Grace O'Malley's
Didn't know what to expect. Food was good but lot of ambient noise.. and the band wasn't planning playing! Service was ok but a bit slow. Not sure I'd revisit.
Food and service was excellent! It was Saturday night so it was very busy, glad we had a reservation! Will definitely come again!
Friendly staff, great food and spirits, fun atmosphere, and good value. We went for an early dinner before a show nearby. We will be back again!
The food, the service, everything was good except the noise level was extremely loud. The bar area is way too loud where others cannot hear what is being said at their table in the dining area. I would no recommend this restaurant for seniors, way too loud.
We enjoyed our evening out at Grace O'Malley's. While I do not recommend their version of a burrito, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the bangers and mash. We would definitely go back! Be sure to make a reservation or you'll have to wait, tho. We were glad we made a reservation ahead of time.
Food was a little underwhelming but decent pub food.
You might want to ask if the circle of friends will be playing. I’ve never heard the same song played for so long and progressively louder in all of my life. Couldn’t wait to leave by the time our dinner was done and would have stayed for more drinks otherwise.
Server couldn’t remember our order and had to come back to ask (only 3 of us). Still ended up with the wrong food.
Not an establishment where can carry on a conversation...not Saturday night anyway!
Need more wine options! Food was great, however. Will return!
Food is always great! Atmosphere is always lively. Recently made a reservation online and when we had arrived, staff did not have a table available, requiring seating at the bar - big let down for this awesome place.
Went here for a meal on a birthday weekend. Sandy, who is normally a bartender was our waiter. Man, what a great experience he made it. Just great convo and great food with a great beer or three. Highly recommend. We will be back.
Great experience. Enjoyed the dinner and music. Not rushed.
Convenient to the theater. Def looked like an Irish pub, which was nice. Food was mixed; the "special" sauce on the salmon tasted like bbq. Tho my husband really liked the shepherds pie. Good service.
Got to Grace's and were seated right away. It was loud with just the people and radio. Band didnt start until 9 so we ended up leaving before hand. Many drink choices. Fish and chips was a bit bland. Chicken curry soup was delicious as was the bacon and cabbage. The mashed potatoes had a wonderful flavor as well as texture. We really wished for lamb stew instead of beef. Would go again possibly.
Service was wonderful! Little loud due to a football game on a huge screen
The salt and vinegar wings are awesome. Best thing on the menu. The fiancé and chips is not my favorite. They have a heavy breading that doesn’t cook all the way through and ends up really soggy. The fish inside falls apart and is a little tasteless. Drinks are awesome and the wait staff does an impressive job when the place is packed
Great authentic atmosphere and food. Service was very good. Great Irish band was playing also. The place was packed so reserve your table!
Best Irish bar in the Tidewater area. Great service and atmosphere. The price for food is excellent but Guinness is a little steep
Good Irish Pub. Great place to go for a quick meals before a show.
We came there for Bosses Day. Out of the 9 that came only 2 had been before. The food was excellent, I'm a vegetarian and I had the Cheese sandwich which was heavenly. Our waitress was great, very attentive. The food came out in a timely manner for a table of 9. Everything about the visit was extremely pleasant and we will be back again. We are so delighted that our Boss chose your place to dine. Thank you
Close to authentic. Good food, beer, and Irish pubish atmosphere.
Had Drunk salmon. Very good. Husband had Fish and Chips. Very good. Friend has the stew. Very large portions. Server was very good. Very inventive. Very nice. Very knowledgeable about the food.
Great Irish bar!!! Not what you get at most so called Irish bars. Gaelic sports are constantly going on the television and the entertainment is fun. Meals are predominantly Irish in nature and are very responsible. Only draw back is the price for a pint.
We came to the restaurant for the entertainment which was fabulous!! The beer and whiskey selection was great. The service was mediocre. When our waitress was on shift she was good. We closed out with her then waited and waited for someone to take over. Someone never did. We actually had to flag someone down to get more drinks. It was ridiculous. Then we had to do the same to get our second check. One person of our group had such salty food that she couldn’t finish it.
We will back for the entertainment and drinks, maybe for the food.
Very nice staff, good food, kid friendly (at lunch). It was exactly what we needed!
Good specials on drinks and beer!
Wonderful food, attentive staff and a great atmosphere! A new favorite spot for us!
My husband & I enjoy the food, drinks & music. The people are friendly . Everyone has a good time.
I loved the pub but would not recommend the fish and chips. The fish was a soft soggy mess. All the other food was very good. 2 of us had the fish and were very disappointed. The server was very nice but unconcerned we didn’t like the fish.
Lunch was wonderful. The authentic Irish dishes are great. Lots of options for alcoholic and non beverages. Server was friendly and personable, attentive and helpful. I recommend Grace O'Malley's to everyone.
Hannah is the best of the best in servers!!!
Fun craic! Musicians were good although repetitive in choice of tunes
Our waitress Taylor was amazing, informative, and prompt. Shes been my waitress just about every time ive been and never disappoints
Love this place!! Everyone should try!!! We got for the food and music but get much more than that. Memories.
Excellent food, great service by LuLu, and wonderful atmosphere!
Went for my birthday dinner. We had a lovely time after the soccer fans left! It was incredibly noisy, even after the soccer fans left, which is my only complaint... but it is a bar The food was yummy, the service was great and the drinks were cold!
Great food reasonable priced drinks that actually had liquor in them
Grace O’Malley’s in Norfolk has excellent Irish fare, the atmosphere is lively, the establishment is attractive and clean, and the servers are pleasant. When I’ve been there for live music, it has always been good. The chefs do a great job. (Try the pretzels and cheese. SO GOOD. The beef stew is my favorite.) They change desserts daily, but they are all delicious. If they have strawberry cheesecake when you visit, get it!! I love this place.
We had a delicious meal, at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere for celebrating my daughters graduation.
Nice authentic Irish look to the restaurant. The bar appearance is really great. The salmon specials are usually terrific as are the daily bread pudding deserts. The tomato soup with Parmesan cheese was a great starter. Service was excellent.
Service was wonderful and the food was stellar.
We were there for the monthly folk music session. The music was fantastic.
