   My husband and I are from BC and have been looking to find a great sushi place. This place is it!!! Sushi was so fresh and presentation was outstanding. Loved the atmosphere!

   Goro & Gun used to be my lunch go to. I don’t eat fish so the Bento Box was an amazing choice. I was disappointed to see it is no longer available which limits the options for someone that can’t eat fish. There used to be a spicy peanut sauce which they also no longer make. The ramen is very good, but not my thing so I’m not sure if I’ll be back.

   Had a WONDERFUL lunch at Goro! Hadn’t been in 6 months and the food and service was as great as ever! Our server, Mitch, was amazing. The staff worked so well as a team and we were treated very well.

    Skip the beef tataki. Not very flavourful. The salmon and tuna sashimi is tasty but not filling. The various rolls had a strange aftertaste. We paid over $200 and still left somewhat hungry. Prices tend to be high and it takes quite a few dishes to get the equivalent amount of food for dinner.

    Horrible experience trying to book a reservation. Inconsistencies with Open Table and Google lead you to think Goro and Gun are capable of taking phone calls. Swing and a miss

    I normally love goro and gun but today sucked. The calamari which is normally my favourite was over cooked one piece was like rubber our server although lovely must have forgotten to ring in our sushi and it took about 40 mins to come after we ordered so we had to wolf it down and it wasn’t enjoyable …. They did comp our appies for the mistake and we will be back it was just unfortunate today

    It was awesome the people were nice, our server mitchell was amazing. It wasn’t loud, the seating and design of the restaurant was very nice. Plus the food was really good I would definitely recommend going here if you get the chance!

    Awesome service and great Ramen. The spicy lamp was the dish of the night. Server was incredibly nice and very sincere. Will eat there again! Will try to make it for Happy Hour from 3-5pm

    I have only been here for lunch when it is full and vibrant. The evening was very quiet, only a few tables. Perhaps folks don’t know it’s open for dinner. The food was fantastic as always though.

    I've been to Goro + Gun before and have enjoyed the food prior to the pandemic. This is the first time back in a long time. The overall experience is good, the service was excellent but the food wasn't as good as I remembered but then again that seems to be the common theme at many restaurants I post pandemic. Anyway, I tried the spicy lamb ramen and the broth was salty. The key to any ramen is the broth, if the broth is not good then the rest is not good. I should have stayed with either the Tonkotsu or spicy miso ramen.

    Goro and Gun used to be one of our favourite restaurants. Service was pretty slow even though the restaurant was half empty. Two orders of ramen were both overly salty, but sushi and appetizers were both good. I used to enjoy Goro and Gun a lot so I hope this is a temporary phase.

    When my husband and I discovered this place, I believed twice we celebrated my birthday and once an anniversary. We keep coming back because of the Japanese authenticity of foods. Highly recommended.
