Best birthday dinner! Service was 100%... Jacqueline was awesome! The food was just like Paris in Vegas, Gordon Ramsey’s place delivered! Rib cap steaks, lobster tail, crab cakes, beef Wellington, sticky toffee pudding, cheesecake, drinks, wine... just outstanding!!! Eat here, worth it! We will be back!
Our food and service was impeccable. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!
Everything was perfect. The meal was delicious
This is my 4th time there and waiting for my steak is still taking way too long. They claimed that is their design. Dumb in my opinion. A great restaurant should be tasty, fast getting the food out, a good portion, and a fair price. The servers there are the best.
The service was absolutely outstanding we were well taken care of. I can’t say anything better than fantastic and wonderful about the food we had steak and seafood and drinks. We went for our anniversary it was so good we will definitely be back.
Had lobster risotto, onion soup, and beef Wellington. All were delicious.
One of our favorite placed to eat. It is expensive, but well worth the price.
The food and cocktails were top notch! Definitely plan on coming back.
Food excellent. Wait staff professional. Good experience except meal took 2 hours for 4 people. Little longer than desired.
Overall, positive experience. HOWEVER, we had a secondary waitress who legit hassled us about my wife not getting desserts. It was super bizarre considering our meal was over $200 and I had a tasting course which had a dessert. My wife is pregnant so she just wasn’t want more after a filet meal. Our normal waiter was super professional and personable but this second waitress who took our plates away and filled drinks was beyond unprofessional. It just kind ruined the whole thing. Food is amazing though!
We could not ask for better service and the food was excellent! The only drawback was the large, noisy table of drunk men seated nearby us, but then that’s what happens at a casino.
Overall fun experience. Food was ok but overpriced.
The food is absolutely amazing. Yes it is expensive, but worth it once or twice a year.
The only problem we had was that u we’re out of bone-in ribeye!! I was really looking forward to it .
I have been there 3 times now and the cook can never get my steak right I will not be going back
The food was great. Our server Jaqueline made the dinner as great as it was. She took the time to talk to us about the menu. Her conversation was authentic and didn't seem forced. Was a great night.
The water glasses smelled like fish. I think cuz things getting washed together but be size that amazing and glad I finally got to eat at a Gordon Ramsay restraunt. I love that guy and great staff for service
Celebrating my husband’s birthday. It was an awesome dinner. The servers were beyond exceptional, and they comped our lobster risotto (highly recommend) appetizer for the occasion. They’re also currently offering a four course dinner that is well worth the price!
The ambiance is a typical high-end restaurant. The lobster risotto was excellent. Scallops incredible. Beef Wellington was just ok. Sticky toffee was excellent. The truffle fries were ok but way oversold. Service seemed good at first but fell apart. The waiter brought a bottle of wine and said he would be back with bread and the bread never came. As we ate we saw several tables leaving and the wait staff bagged up their leftover food. Pretty typical at better restaurants. When we were done they asked about containers we said yes and they took the dinner plates. Then they dropped off containers and a bag. They had thrown away some of the beef Wellington and a scallop we were going to take. Pretty disappointed in the service. Not what we expected for a $250 dinner. Cannot imagine this is what is expected here.
Ordered a bone in rib eye and got a bone in strip steak. Obviously this is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant by name only, if he was involved with it at all the food would be much better. Way overpriced!!
Visited with my son and his wife to celebrate selling my home. Excellent meal and fine service from all of the staff. My daughter-in-law had the American Wagyu beef; she said it was so good she refused to share even one small bite. I got to try that next time.
It was just ok, nothing special stood out. I doubt I'll go back.
Great food. Great professional employees and service.
I have to watch my salt. A choice of lower salt in a dish would be nice to have.
I would have preferred a chicken breast as my entre, like I had in Vegas, but chicken breast was not a choice. Maybe they can add it to the menu.
The food was delicious and service was great . We love his restaurant in Vegas too
Amazing food and amazing service.
So happy to celebrate our ten year anniversary at Steak!!!
It was amazing I dont feel anything could have been better
Food was bland appetizers were great service was great
Excellent food and presentation
Had dinner here with my wife while visiting KC. Service was top-notch, from the reception to the waiter. Menu was good; not too much, not too little. We shared the bone-in rib eye, medium rare and it was PERFECT. Waiter was attentive and polite and helpful; great attitude. Food was served in good timing; not too quick and not long at all. Price is a little high, but that is expected. My ONLY gripes was seating and other guests. Because of the the very open layout of the restaurant, it's difficult to feel like you have some privacy. The lighting was decent, but would be nice to have something a little softer and more intimate feeling. As for guests, it is in a casino, so you have people wearing jeans, shorts, and t-shirts as if they were eating at an Applebees. For a couple like my wife and I, where this was a dress-up, romantic event, it was a tad off-putting to have many guests dressed so relaxed. In my opinion, a dress code is appropriate for what you are paying to eat there. Otherwise, a great experience and great food!
The food and service did not disappoint but I was shocked at the lack of ambience at this restaurant. For those types of prices I expected much better than the hotel convention room vibe this place gave us. Lighting way too bright, bare decor and a great view of the exit door! No thanks
Was our 1 year anniversary. We got married in Vegas and ate at Gordon steakhouse last year. I thought it would be a wonderful surprise to relive that moment and eat there on our 1 year anniversary. My wife ordered the special where it was a five-course meal and you sampled several things. Her scallop risotto the scallops not fully cooked and it was cool so we sent those back. She had a half Beef Wellington and lobster. The lobster head gritty like eating sand and the beef wellington was dried out and tough. It seemed as though it set in a warmer for quite a while, definitely not fresh. I ordered the wagyu rib-eye skirt medium rare and it came back it was extremely rare. The quality was not anything like we had seen in Vegas was very upsetting. I watch the show since its Inception and all the seasons I love Gordon Ramsay and all the things that he does but I don't think he would approve with the food quality that night. Will this stop me from ever going to another Gordon Ramsay absolutely not. I will definitely not ever recommend the Kansas City location. The experience was very unpleasant and did not even come close to the quality we experienced at the Las Vegas location.
It was the best steak I've ever had, literally melts in your mouth!! Service was fantastic, Gust did an amazing job recommending & describing the menu. 10/10 can't wait to come back & try more food
It was terrible, the food was cold and for the price we had to pay it was definitely not worth it. I wish Gordon himself could’ve been there to see how bad it was, if I was him I would shut it down and reevaluate. Now as far as our waitresses and so on, it was awesome they knew what they where talking about and was a lot of fun. Overall we will not be going back.
Great meal! We will be back soon
The food was excellent! My wife had Mac and Cheese and I had the KC Strip cook exactly to medium rare! Service was fantastic!
Food was great, atmosphere was excellent. This truly shows how great Gordon Ramsay is, this restaurant is a true compliment to him and his staff.
The food was Amazing! The service was phenomenal..
I was skeptical, but was blown out of the water! Everything was amazing!
I was so disappointed in the food. I have been waiting to try Gordon Ramsay’s beef Wellington forever. And it was bland no seasoning at all. The risotto was great and the dessert was yummy. Our server was by far the best part of the whole dinner. But for the price we paid, we will not go back.
