We had a very nice time at Goode Co. Seafood-Memorial. Food was great, we had a wonderful bottle of wine and spent a lovely evening with friends. So good to be able to sit at a restaurant and enjoy great food, wine and friends! We will be back soon.
We were celebrating a birthday. There were six ladies. Our server was excellent and the food was good. Complementary dessert was enjoyed. It came a rain storm as we finished eating. We couldn't leave the restaurant for quite a long time. They were very gracious about letting 6 older ladies hang out until it was safe for us to leave.
I went on a first date here, it was awful. Maybe because we showed up close to closing on a Sunday but the food we ordered simple crab gumbos and redfish beignets. Crab gumbo was tasteless and too salty, beignets were tiny pieces of fish. Service almost non-existent. I would recommend you go to the original location near Rice Village.
Your new restaurant doesn’t even compare in ambiance with the beautiful original one which was torn down, 😩. I no longer live in Houston but was visiting and wanted to go to the lovely Goode Co. Seafood restaurant that you had before. It was a big let down to go into your new restaurant. The food was still good but it totally lacks in ambiance.
Absolutely the best waiter we’ve had in years! Presentation, flavor, and quality was brilliant. Can’t wait to go back.
Had grilled flounder and fried shrimp dinners. Both excellent.
Our server was great!
Fantastic lunch spot.
Goode Co has been a consistent restaurant every time I've been. Food is quality. Atmosphere is energetic and comfortable. Service is very good. This location is rebuilt from the prior adjacent location which was a bit loud. The new location is great for conversation and casual business luncheons. Attire is also casual but attractive. Flounder was the choice this time, but I've never had a bad meal. Campechana is still the first thing to get and always good. All seafood is fresh. Hard to beat.
Our food came out soon after we got out salad.
We had to send it back.
Staff was rushing us, while the restaurant was not full
Trevor was excellent!!!
Fresh seafood served in a nautical diner. Service was friendly and we felt very well taken care of. Each dish was not only delicious, but pleasing to the eye also. Great spot to catch a bite with friends, family, or a date.
The lunch was very enjoyable. Our waiter was very helpful and the overall service was vey good.
Everything was just okay, nothing bad but nothing great either
Their menu is not what it shows online. I was disappointed by the limited menu. They were also out of the two Chardonnays by glass that my wife requested, so we ordered a bottle.
Food and staff were awesome - had the red snapper special and it did not disappoint. We will be back!
Crabmeat Fettuccine was very good but I wish the server would have told us that there's sprinkles of crabmeat rather than lumps of crabmeat when asked about it which made it a bit disappointing.
The server was pushing for the Filet Mignon, strange since it's a seafood restaurant.
I don't mind paying more for the crabmeat meat in the fettuccine.
The new ambiance doesn't match with the prices. . . At the old location, it was a white tablecloth, nice dinner. The new ambiance is more casual and the prices are higher than should be expected. Especially with the fact that the menu has less items (baked potato, only 2 desserts). Also seems like there are more upcharges for substitutuions than before.
Never been to Goode Co Seafood and I probably wont go again. Pappadeaux's is the way to go.
The food was great and reasonably priced. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We'll be back.
Recommend reservations. Staff was pleasant and food was exceptional.
Very nice very nice
I like coming here for the campechana. Too much ice in the beverages.
Service slow and wrong. Roasted oysters missing oysters. Of 6 orders , three were wrong coming from kitchen. Wrong wine served. Two hours from sitting down to entrees served. Items on menu not available. Also sun was blinding for 15 minutes as it went down.
Server did apologize and correct, but lots wrong out of kitchen
Our family had a great time celebrating Father's Day brunch after church.
We love coming here for the food and service, but yesterday visit was not the same and maybe because it was Father’s Day. However, we were the 1st table sat and no one else there, but our waiter wasn’t attentive at all. I had an empty coffee cup several times, requiring me to flag him to ask for more. The food was good, but not great as we usually think it is. Not sure why this visit was so “off” but we will return still. Just wanted to share my feedback so it’s known there are areas to improve :)!
Great food, great service! We enjoy coming to Goode Company Seafood. The campechana is a must have to start off your meal. We love their mesquite grilled seafood. Great wine menu and the service it top notch. One of our favorite restaurants in Houston.
they continue to have a reduced menu and underwhelming service.
Really Great Seafood, good value.
The ahi tuna salad was very good with a nice mix of ingredients and so was the shrimp and crab campechana appetizer. The wait staff was very attentive and efficient. It is a little loud but well worth it even for a business lunch.
If you love shrimp cocktail, get that and skip the shrimp and/or crab salsa advertised above it. The mesquite salmon was great, as was the red snapper. Empanada was ok. It's great as a very casual lunch spot for when you want to experience Kemah/Pleasure Pier vibes but can't make the drive.
My spouse said the oysters were the best oysters he’s had in years!!
Great food at reasonable prices---make reservations ahead of time if dining after 6;30
Exceptional service!! Friday night was filled but had OT reservation and we weee seated before reservation time. Food as always fresh and delicious. Smoked fish dip and mesquite grilled oysters are fav appetizers.
We’ve been fans of both locations of Goode Company Seafood for many years, but with the pandemic and relocation construction at the Memorial location, hadn’t been there since it moved. We enjoyed the Westpark location with our car club friends again a week ago, but were overwhelmed with our first visit to the “new” Memorial location. Great facility. Great food as always, and great service by our waitperson, Karissa. 5-stars all around! We’ll be back often!! (The campichana is the best around.)
Our visit met my expectations in every way - just like in other Goode Company operated restaurants,
The food was great. I will say that initially service was lacking as we were waiting for nearly ten minutes before being spoken to, but once we actually made contact things picked up greatly.
Service was very slow.
