Goode Co. Seafood - Memorial
In April, we hired Hamilton Health Box to guide our protocol development
and reinforce our safety standards. Since then, their dedicated medical staff has
continued to provide our employees with 24/7 on-call medical support, free
COVID testing as needed, and randomized testing each week.
We want to be part of the solution to halt the spread of this virus—and we hope
you’ll join us in doing so. Please wear your mask and practice social distancing
when inside our establishments. The only way we get through this is together.

Great waiter and very nice food specials. We will be back soon.
Always amazing consistent and fresh plus terrific service
Great experience! This location in new building is somewhat more casual than before, but food and service are still top notch. Our favorite west Houston seafood dining.
New location -- more casual, still have limited menu but favorites are coming back. The mesquite Red Fish dip is the BEST! I love that, could sit and have that as a meal with a nice glass of wine or cocktail.
(Miss the Chris Craft boat that was in the dining room of old location.)
Great food, great service!
Goode’s is conspicuously consistent with delivering high quality food and equally excellent service.
Lunch with girlfriends; loved our waitstaff person - separate checks, delicious food.
Goode Company Seafood always has consistently great food and service.
First time eating here. Amazing! What took us so long to try? Our server was less than attentive but food made up for that.
Didn’t find the food very good and atmosphere was dinner like not what I was expecting
We loved our dinner at the new renovated spot. Great service & food.
Extended Family get together
Always consistent food and the best grilled fish in Houston
Great food and ambiance
I came here to treat my dad for his birthday and everything was excellent from the service to the food.
The food was delicious! I appreciate the manager coming over to ask about my allergy to cilantro. I will definitely be back.
Perfect dining experience!
We love the new building! The food was great but they didn’t have much in the way of low carb choices. At least have a green veggie option! Also, they. Barge an additional 5% to the tab labeled as “COVID FEE”. Not a huge deal, just something to note.
I totally disagree with the Covid charge. The restaurant is fortunate to have its patrons' business.
Food was not as good as I recalled it being while Goode Co Seafood was at their previous location. Fish was great, but the beans and shrimp empanadas left a lot to be desired. The crab bisque was also good, and our waiter gave us excellent service.
Attentive wait staff, food was ok. Pecan pie was the best part. Too much mesquite cooked seafood for us as Louisiana foodies. During Covid19, restaurant is adding 5% to ticket for employee testing and restaurant cleaning which was not a deal breaker.
Hi Jenn, we really appreciate your feedback. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the pecan pie! However, we would like to learn a little more about your thoughts on your meal. Would you mind giving us some more detail about your experience here so our manager can reach out to you directly? https://bit.ly/3dt0Q3v
Food was good, the worst service I’ve ever had. We were charged $44.00 for 2 martinis, when we asked about it the bartender told us they were $12.00 each, manager told us $15.00 each, don’t know how they came up with $44.00. Our waiter was awful, we kept having to look for him whenever we needed something.
Will not go back, plus they charge you a 5% Covid fee.
We both ordered the fried shrimp platter. It came with fries. Also, ordered side salads. Salads were fresh. Food was good. Pretty basic dinner. Service was excellent. Just FYI They have a 5% Covid charge.
Best pecan pie around
We asked for an outside table in the reservation, but they treat it as first come, first serve. Food and service were good, no complaints. I would call it noisy at 7pm on a Saturday night, but tolerable.
An enjoyable Saturday lunch, with fabulous food! Everyone was friendly, which only made the experience more enjoyable. Definitely will spend more time at this location.
Delicious off menu special with crab stuffed red snapper. Excellent dinner out.
Our waiter was fabulous!
Food is always great. This time service was not up to par: had to ask for napkins, silverware, bread, etc.
Great meal. Fresh. Good service.
Great food and service
Service was fantastic. Food was great. Martinis are awesome.
Part of any dining experience is the ambience of the restaurant. Goode Co. Seafood recently moved from its original location to a new space, more facing onto the IH-10/Katy Freeway. This was our first visit to the new space since that move. To our dismay, the ambience of the original location has been erased, replaced by a space resembling the make-over of a vacated Sam's Club /Wall Mart location with 30 foot+ warehouse ceiling, vinyl upholstered banquette seating, no table cloths and low-budget decoration. Having gone to Goode Company Seafood in an attempt to restore a bit of pre-COVID-19 sanity to our life, we were greeted instead by a future, where restaurant design incorporates easily cleaned surfaces, wiping clean any semblance of prior dining experience at this special Memorial area restaurant. While the food quality hasn't changed from the original location (yet), all that was missing to complete the COVID-19 experience was styrofoam plates, plastic tableware and plastic glasses.
Small portions were my only real issues with our meals
Great food, huge distance between tables for social distancing.
Our waiter was very friendly and showed great customer service. It was our first time there and we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. We will definitely be back, food was delicious and loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Same waiter as our last visit and since there were only a few seated tables he should have been friendly, attentive and courteous but he ( both visits) barely made eye contact and looked annoyed. He wore a mask and gloves but spent most of his time , other than being flagged down or required visits, texting ... without changing the gloves he delivered our food and drinks with . Never saw a smile.
Good service, drinks and food!
The noise level was low due to limited number. Was extremely unhappy with the Covid surcharge! Bad business!!!
I have been a goode company's fan for a long time. This morning my wife and me along with two of my best friends went to this new location for the first time. we ordered two mojito and two Texas Bellini first. Mojito had too much ice in it. Then we ordered a couple of seafood Gumbo, taste was all right but the soup was luke warm. Then we ordered a crab cake and Redfish dip. when the appetizer came, the waitress brought a additional order of Empanada which we never ordered. we did not make this a big deal. the crab cake was good. but the redfish dip wasn't. finally we got our main dish, 2 order of gulf shrimp , one order of crabmeat Fettuccine and a Grilled red snapper, Both shrimp and red snapper were burned and had a lot grease on it.The seafood Rice was very dry. We were so disappointed of the food quality. The waitress did a ok job. so I left her 15 percent tips. The bill was $270 including the tips. when we got home this afternoon, both my and I were in and out of restroom all night long. Something must be spoiled. before we went up there this morning we only a cup of Starbucks coffee and croissants. Then when I tried to call them to make a complaint, I saw the receipt, there was a Covid Fee of $ 10.48 on it. I was shocked. Nobody at the Restaurant told us there was a surcharge on top of my bill. If they told me, we would walked out that place immediately. I know it is difficult time now Restaurant business. We came to support them not to be ripped off. I have been in the Restaurant business myself for 30 years and never seen things like that. Shame on you! I would never come back. I guess we can call them Bade Company now.
I think the portion sizes are relatively small compared to the price point, especially compared to that of other local seafood restaurants.
Our waiter was excellent. He realized we were talking business and he did not bother us unnecessarily. And the food was great. See you again soon.
