Goode Co. Seafood - Memorial

and reinforce our safety standards. Since then, their dedicated medical staff has
continued to provide our employees with 24/7 on-call medical support, free
COVID testing as needed, and randomized testing each week.
We want to be part of the solution to halt the spread of this virus—and we hope
you’ll join us in doing so. Please wear your mask and practice social distancing
when inside our establishments. The only way we get through this is together.

Excellent food as usual.
Timing of service was perfect. We did not want to be rushed - and were not.
Great casual wear atmosphere. Wait staff very attentive. Food is excellent!
Campenchana Extra is the best dish in America. Prove me wrong!
Was GOODE! Had red snapper grilled and fried shrimp. Just GOODE!!
fantastic sea food gumbo and the red fish. Been going to this restaurant (kirby location ) for over 20 years
The reservation was a late one on Mother’s Day; so, it’s understandable that a couple of things had run out. My favorite beer and favorite salad dressing, to give just two examples. However, the waiter made up for it with humor and a fantastic attitude. The dining experience was very good for a reasonable price.
Mothers Day dinner. We were upstairs do to the heavy reservation situation. Felt more like a banquet area and missed the ambiance of the downstairs area.
Enjoyed our Mother’s Day lunch here and we loved the food, drinks and service we received!
We went for Mother's Day. I expected the restaurant to be packed, and it was. We were seated in the upstairs dining room, which was disappointing. However, the food was very good, and the service was excellent considering how crowded it was. We will be back, just maybe not on a big holiday.
We were there for Mother’s Day dinner. Everything was fine until I ordered dessert and it took a long time to come out. They also gave us the wrong bill and we had to wait on them to correct that. The food and drinks were good.
We have been eating at the Goode Family of Restaurants for years. They never disappoint. Make sure you ask for off the menu items for the day. They usually have a few real good specials. This visit we had the seafood platter, grilled golden tile (this would have been awesome blackened), Mahi Mahi, blackened shrimp, fried shrimp - all wonderful, and of course the Campechana Extra (crab & shrimp), which is their specialty, was to die for!
I was not impressed at all. Service was rushed and selective.
Beyond our expectations. We will definitely be going back.
Taking into consideration it was Mother’s Day, a very busy Sunday, there is more on the negative side than positive. Really nothing great to desire to ever return. Too bad
We made reservations for Mother's Day. The booth was perfect and comfortable, the food was fabulous, and the service was very good! The campechana is the best in Houston, and the oysters were large and very tasty! Chocolate cream pie and the out-of-this-world pecan pie were the cherry on top of our meal! I must also comment on the new digs....very tastefully done and even with a lot of hard surface and a bar in the middle of the restaurant, the noise level is manageable for conversation. Try it, you'll love it!
This was the first time we been there in about 2 1/2 years. They moved but it was in the same location but much brighter and the staff seemed much happier. The Food was exactly how we remembered it. Loved it
Disappointed with seating after making reservations. Made for 5:30 and they sat us next to the entrance at a make shift table with using outdoor chairs. Needless to say the experience did not start well even though we made dinner reservations well in advance.
Love the food! The pecan pie is the best I’ve ever had. My husband loves it too! Our server Trevor is fabulous! All the wait staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place.
It was wonderful! The food was so great and the service was fantastic!
Was a great dining experience. We split a dinner salad, ( wish they would bring back their Lady Bird salad or previous dinner salad at old restaurant that was torn down). Had red snapper grilled with grilled asparagus. Also had fried shrimp with French fries.
This was actually my first time visiting Goode Company Seafood. Overall, the food and service was great. The only minor issue is that the acoustics in the building are poor, so it is quite loud making hearing the server a bit difficult.
Old regular of all the Goode family restaurants, love the food. A little pricier than it used to be but soooo tasty.
This restaurant has a high end casual type feel to it. The layout is nice and the waiting staff is professional and helpful. The food is pretty good, a touch on the expensive side compared to other places.
The service was outstanding. The food was very nice, just not enough on the portions. Love the new building.
My husband and I have been loyal fans of Goode Company Seafood for many years. We went at least once per week. Due to a bad experience at this location back in December, we stopped going. We decided to give it another try and were so happy we did. Trevor was amazing!!
Food wonderful as ever; miss the ambiance of the former location. Too noisy when tables are all occupied; not as easy to converse.
Our experience was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Campechana was fabulous and the crab cake was all crab!
Have always loved Goode & Company. Thank you for not requiring a mask to walk in. We need life to return to pressure Covid normal.
Had grilled snapper and fried shrimp with a side of asparagus. Was perfect.
Absolutely loved this place. I took my brother for his 19th birthday he loves seafood so the menu was beyond perfect and had plenty of options. The atmosphere is nice and bright. Now I needed to save the best for last which was our server (wish I remembered their name). Our server was impeccable, they were sweet and attentive! I will definitely be going back!
Consistently great food and service. Campeche crab/ shrimp an always go to appetizer. Salmon dinner a favorite as well .
The food was good, all the choices are pretty straight forward and plain. Not a good choice for an occasion dinner. Its a bit load and very casual atmosphere.
First time to the "new" west Houston location off of I-10 and Gessner. It has more of the same "diner" ambiance that the original location on Westpark has now vs. the slightly higher end (business casual) the first iteration of the Goode & Co. Seafood on the west side had. Very pleasant, but also much more casual (jeans and t-shirts) than before. The pandemic menu (as of 4/19/21) is still abbreviated (e.g. only one baked oyster option (parmesan) for now.) Great food and service, always!
Met with friends for first time since COVID. Was a lovely dining experience. Food was excellent. We as couples ordered two campechana’s for appetizers. Our entrees were grilled red snapper, and flounder and two fried shrimp dinners. Everything was done very well.
We love Goode Co Seafood. The second time we dined there was Levi Goode's first week as an assistant floor manager. He had room to improve; the restaurant didn't, and it's still great. We were sad to see the menu shrink in the new location, but things may improve with the passing of the epidemic.
Trevor and Yadira were just perfect hosts for our meal and we are delighted to see them every time.
We recommend GCS to anyone and everyone. It's the right answer for any occasion, and of course the fresh Gulf seafood is wonderful.
We will be back again and again.
It was nice to see people out dining again. Service was excellent and the food was as well.
Excellent service and food, our server was very attentive and extremely knowledgeable of the menu items.
Seared tuna salad is fantastic 10/10. Damn Good burger 9/10. We will be back!
Seafood Skewer was good. Service was very average. Waiter was not very concerned about my sons food allergy to shrimp, and would not ask chef to take any precautions to cook his meal with more care.
New building and setting. Not what I expected from the last time we ate there. Less formal.
