Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina - Memorial
In April, we hired Hamilton Health Box to guide our protocol development
and reinforce our safety standards. Since then, their dedicated medical staff has
continued to provide our employees with 24/7 on-call medical support, free
COVID testing as needed, and randomized testing each week.
We want to be part of the solution to halt the spread of this virus—and we hope
you’ll join us in doing so. Please wear your mask and practice social distancing
when inside our establishments. The only way we get through this is together.

Food and drinks were average. Would visit again.
Great place to enjoy a meal with the family. We love itvjere!
They have cleared out about half their tables. The tables were thoroughly wiped down between uses. All the wait staff wore masks. Food and service were excellent as always.
We were looking forward to a fun NYE dinner with friends, but the restaurant was closed. Seems that we should have at the very least received a last minute phone call since you confirmed our reservation.
Hard to beat a nice evening on the patio with Goode food!
Food is good somewhat pricey. Nice variety on the menu with the salad and seafood options. The main reason for the lower rating is the service. I made a reservation for 8:30 and when we sat down they almost immediately asked us what we wanted to eat because the kitchen is closing. Why make a reservation time that close to closing the kitchen? Also water wasn't filled but think this was about them closing. Have eaten here for lunch without same issues.
Great service. Our friend’s cheese enchiladas arrived cold. The staff offered to replace and comped them. We also ordered the carnitas which were the best ever when the restaurant first opened. Now they were just rather tasteless and blah. I was envisioning the Smokey flavor and hint of cinnamon, but none to be had. The margaritas, chips and salsa were very good, as was the queso.
Food was excellent we sat outside and service was a bit slow.
Food was no very good, for anyone in our group. Very disappointing. We are all big fans normally.
We left because we hadn’t even been served water after being there 15 minutes. Disappointing. It used to be so good.
Great food and service
Very tasty Tex-Mex food. Our waiter was attentive but not overtly bothersome. I would recommend for a nice lunch,. Parking can be a problem in the evenings and they do have valet.
Food was a little cold when it came to the table
Such an amazing place for real authentic Mexican foods and drinks. Great safety practices for COVID-19 with spaced out seating and accommodating sanitizing.
Awesome waiter, food was over the top good! Margaritas perfect, love this place!
Service was terrible. Seated outside, waited 25 minutes for a waiter and chips and salsa. Lunch order was delivered wrong and waitress never apologized. Won’t be going back with so many Mexican options in town.
The food quality has gone way down. The food was cold and bland. Everyone of us out of 5 all agreed. Will not be going back. Once was a very good restaurant but the last two times have been awful. I understand covid is happening but to be served cold food is inexcusable. Over priced and underwhelmed. Houston has much better options for Mexican food.
Extremely authentic food. Service was very accommodating and kind. Will always recommend for Mexican food. Adhered to appropriate social distancing and cleanliness guidelines to minimize potential COVID-19 exposure. Felt very safe and had a great time!
Good food and good service
Birthday dinner for my daughter - was great!
Great Food . Great drinks. Will come back.
Great food. Fun, nice atmosphere.
Love this place! Great for groups. Campechana a must.
I do realize things are different now during Covid, but left overall disappointed. I've been here several times pre pandemic, and love their food. However, prepare yourself now for a significantly SMALLER MENU, and on top of that a 5% COVID FEE to your bill. Service was not what it should have been either. Can't say I will be returning anytime soon.
Love the redfish! So good!
Sarah was a awesome server! Everything she recommended was outstanding. This was my first time in and I can’t wait to come back!!
It's pretty easy to stay away from gluten in this place if you need to. They don't use flour in any of their soups, last I checked and the carnitas are awesome, not to mention the in-house made corn tortillas. Margaritas are top notch! Can't wait till they start making tamarind margaritas!
Just a ho-hum experience. We won’t be back
Excellent food and drinks, very nice restaurant to go and enjoy the evening
The food was fabulous and the service exceptional! Best food flavor in town!
The carnitas were delicious and a good value. The service was pretty slow, but I understand the hardships of finding good waitstaff in these COVID times.
Waitress was god awful. Walked my my empty water glass 5 times, had to ask for everything, very inattentive, just made it a bad experience. Love the food but garbage service that night.
Love this restaurant! Great Mexican food and great service.
As always food was greatly
I had not seen my family in a while so we decided to get together for dinner. I have come to this restaurant several times now, and every time I order tostadas without cheese due to being lactose intolerant. Somehow, my no cheese modification has been left out the last two times. I never complained, but I simply always wait to eat while everyone else also waits to eat with me. With the times lately, I understand having a limited menu and had to choose something else this past visit. I chose tacos thinking it’s basically the same thing so that’s fine. I was so disappointed. The flavor was completely bland. Plus, I ordered my tacos without cheese, and per usual, received them with cheese. No manager came by this time like they typically do when it has happened in the past. The server was decent. Nothing to complain about with him even though I understand it could have been his or the kitchen’s fault. I’ve never had the same server twice, but my no cheese modification always gets messed up. I don’t remember the food to be bland. I want to give y’all another chance, but this time I want to say something so it can be brought to your attention, again. Thanks for listening.
As always, our visit to the Cantina was very pleasant! We were not able to reserve a table in Sam's area but our server was excellent. Food was also excellent. It was so nice to be out and about.
Disappointed that items on the menu provided were not available. If menu is reduced, make a new menu. Kids menu almost non-existent. You could make some new menus with the additional 5% you are charging. Won’t be going back for awhile.
