In the centre of Notting Hill, on the iconic Portobello Road, there is Goode & Wright, a quirky, alternative and independent little neighbourhood Bistro Wine Bar serving creative casual food throughout all day, breakfast to dinner, organic coffee and wine.

Goode & Wright’s menu has been crafted by the talented chefs Oren Goldfeld from Israel and Gabriel Muñoz from Spain.

The name Goode & Wright comes from a former school uniform outfitter from 1928 that serviced the adjacent Portobello School. Tipping our hats to the industrious Mr. Goode and Mr. Wright, we have maintained the sign with its original colours and typography, thus protecting the character and independent nature of Portobello Road and ensuring our customers are fit for the school of life.

Came here for brunch with my family - they had great options on the menu so everyone could find what they wanted. The service was friendly and efficient and the ambiance was lovely.

Nice enough restaurant, could be so much more. Food for ok, not the best ingredients, service was slow, not so unfriendly and haphazard. I think with a little consideration, it has potential for so much more. Music a tad too load, couldn't converse properly with friends.

We had a Saturday brunch for 4 at Goode and Wright...the food was amazing! We all had different dishes and all of them were delicious. They have healthy and not-quite-so healthy options and the variety is very good. I really liked the ambiance - perfect for a date. The staff was very nice - they even loaned us a spare phone charging cable. We will definitely be returning!

The dishes were served disappointingly lukewarm... which was actually infuriating because we were only one of 3 tables on a Friday night so there really isn't any excuse. Food was decent if a little confused but let down by the emptiness which gave it a cold atmosphere and the cold food! I wouldn't recommend for a date.

Lovely food. Not very well set up for children. Only have one high chair for the whole restaurant! If you don't like salty food be sure to ask them to put less salt!

Good food and agreeable waiter. But the food is served "as of when it's ready". We were 3 and my mother got her main then her starter whilst we were still waiting. Then I git my food but my friend had to wait still. Shame because the atmosphere and the food was really good and very reasonably priced. But the way the food is served spoiled everything. I will not go back because of this unfortunately.

I've had both brunch and dinner at Goode & Wright bistro and can recommend both. Good food and friendly service - an excellent value for money with nice Portobello Road atmosphere. We had dinner with a baby and everything went perfectly (apart from the baby knocking down a candle, but the staff were very helpful with that as well..) Would definitely recommend for a casual dinner or brunch with friends.
