We were thrilled to see that Good News was open on Monday night, our anniversary. We booked a booth in the bar area, our favorite place to sit, and our server was Victoria. Upon arriving, it was very quiet and relaxed. We ordered the charcuterie to share, delicious and the right amount, and then the beet salad to share, with mandarin oranges, pistachios, and a delicious dressing, so good. For dinner, I ordered the Good News halibut special with spinach and basmati rice that was accompanied with a soy pineapple sauce that was amazing, and my husband ordered the rigatoni bolognese, perfect for a rainy night and leftovers to enjoy again. They surprised us with desserts for our anniversary at the end of our meal, cheesecake (so good!!) and affogato (yum!!). It was the perfect evening and way to celebrate our anniversary. We found out at the end of the dinner that it was our server's first night there, she did a wonderful job! Thank you Good News team for making our anniversary extra special and for the lovely night! We will see you soon!

The server we had was not the best. She was in a hurry to get us to order, was not helpful with wine selection. Not very hospitable to start our meal there after such amazing experiences at other local restaurants.

The food was incredible! We had a last minute guest join us and the restaurant was able to accommodate us with no problem. Our waiter Tyler was the best!

Hadn’t been there since the remodeling. Real improvement over the old decor. Food and service were very good. Will definitely return.

Our first time dining here since the change of ownership. Almost everything was perfect. The only thing we didn’t like was that our entrees were brought to our table before our appetizers were finished and cleared from the table. A small thing but I believe worth mentioning.

Attentive service. Menu was eclectic. Some offerings were excellent( short rib.)Others unimpressive (scallops). Lobster bisque advertised with chunks of lobster was tasty but no chunks. Was told a new owner? Check back another time when they find their lane.
