The space is beautiful. The service was incredible as well. Our server was great. While the food portions were a decent size, unfortunately the food was not great. We were really looking forward to trying Goma, but everything we had was just okay. Most of us couldn’t finish what we ordered. We didn’t say anything because it was a common theme and the service was great that we didn’t want to make a big deal about it. I would go back for drinks at the bar. Maybe another try will change my opinion.

We hadn’t been back to Goma since soon after their opening. This our second visit we wondered why we hadn’t been back! Everything was excellent, the food and service were great. We had sushi which was excellent and yakitoi and the tempura vegetables, both of those excellent also. The waiter recommended a Saki which was also very good. Highly recommend!

Service is always excellent. I can’t remember who we got but we’ve had him numerous times before. We sat at the sushi bar this time which I didn’t realize I had booked and wasn’t happy about it (in general I prefer a table and we were at the last seats, right next to the kitchen entrance so lighting was bad and why I put a 3 for ambiance) but the sushi chef in front of us was really helpful and lovely with guiding us to try new things and helping with my numerous food allergies. The food was very delayed because they ran out of clean dishes for Tobanyaki and it was extremely salty and inedible as it was but the server comped us drinks, entrees and dessert and brought me a side of plain rice to help soak up the salt (I opted for that instead of ordering something else which was offered). They really do want your experience to be great and the manager spoke to us as well. We have been numerous times and been happy with our meals. I see this as a one off and they did everything to remedy the situation and got us to the show (Chappelle) on time. I got the Japanese mushroom salad which I always get and the sushi chef noted that it didn’t have very many mushrooms on it and got me more. I appreciated the attention front of house staff had to details as well as the sushi chef. I think the Chappelle Show slamming them played a role in some of the chaos but again, will be back. They did everything I’d want to make us happy.

This was the best sushi I have ever had. The stars of the show were 100% the nigiri. The quality of the fish, along with the flavor was amazing. On top of the amazing food, our service was top notch. Multiple employees helping out throughout the meal, but David was our main server and he was amazing. To his knowledge on saki to recommendations on samplers, it was an amazing experience. We went for an anniversary so was okay with the price for a special occasion, but be aware you will spending a pretty penny. 5 out of 5 would definitely go back

We came for our anniversary dinner on a Saturday night. The hostess wished us a happy anniversary and sat us promptly. Our waiter, Scott, was wonderful. Very attentive, knowledgeable, and brought a sample of sparkling wine and saki for our celebration. The food was fresh and delicious. We had a great time and will certainly be back!

Hospitality was overflowing last night at Goma. From the moment we walked in the door, they were firing on all cylinders. The maitre’d, Anna, welcomed us warmly and set a superb evening in motion. Scott, our server, was helpful and had the perfect energy for a social Saturday evening dinner. Yellowtail otsukuri and black pepper beef and rice were highlights but everything tasted good. Yes, yes and yes!

It was our first time there and it was incredible! Amanda did an amazing job taking care of us and guiding us through the menu. One of the best sushi places we’ve ever had and amazing prices for the quality of food. Big thank you for celebrating my fiancés birthday as well! We will be back!

mediocre food paired with terrible service. we waited over 40 minutes for appetizers with no acknowledgement nor update from our servers. one particular server was very clearly having a rough night, grumpy face behind the bar and on the floor, did not even greet us just immediately asked for drink order. i wanted to try something new for my birthday dinner but should have stuck with my usual spot down the street.

The service was very good. I don’t have anything to say about the service, but the food was just OK. My sushi was just ok not yummy. Had to keep asking for the different sauces like spicey mayo, eel sauce, because I thought it needed something? They completely forgot to add the broccoli to my husband’s beef dish . Was pricey for average sushi!

In relation to all of our visits to a Dante restaurant, this meal was as good as all our previous meals at any Dante's. This was our first visit to Goma. We will return and recommend it to our friends and family.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The sushi, drinks (I highly recommend the Goma Old Fashioned), to the chocolate soufflé cake, all perfect. If you like Sushi and find yourself in downtown Cleveland around dinner time, stop here. You will not be disappointed. The staff made our visit a memorable one.

Food was great. Seevice was someway mediocre, for the bartender seemed annoyed and not wanting to be there. Peehaps a training opportunity for better customer service (attitude) by the bartenders.
