   Would not recommend or come again for this experience. Service was great but when the sushi chef was talking either music was loud or we could not understand him and no accommodation was extended to convey his comments. Didn't really know what we were having beyond menu description without asking. For this kind of experience it was lacking. Really was mundane and subverted the food. Wanted something more out of the experience for the price and didn't get it. Needed more than just dinner in a vacant restaurant at the sushi bar. This was nothing special but we were charged a special price. I will say Saki pairing was great.

   Wine list is non-existent. Couldn’t find any wine glasses. Took 25 minutes for a bottle of wine. Ended up canceling the order. Wouldn’t let us sit at a table when I made a mistake of reserving the sushi bar. Sushi was really good.

   Chef Lee, Zach and the staff at Goma are hands down the best. The food and drinks were amazing and service is always top notch!

   My wife and I had dinner between NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament sessions at Rocket Arena. It was very busy, and service was slow. However, the food and drinks were great, and our waiter, Carl, did a good job of communicating the delays from the kitchen to us. If you like oysters, don't hesitate to order them if you dine here. They are phenomenal.

   Overall great experience. The sushi chefs presented a beautiful meal that was unique in presentation and palate. They also checked in on us to be sure we were enjoying our selections. The decor was whimsical and the space was clean and modern. Hailey, our server demonstrated excellence in customer service. She intuitively provided attentive service that was warm, welcoming, and thorough while never being overbearing. She gave a great menu tour that lead to recommendations which were perfectly suited for our taste. She was personable and connected with us in a genuine and luxurious way. She shines and made our night! The only upgrade I would’ve made to our evening was if the host could’ve accommodated us at a different seating area as requested after seeing only a couple other diners at the time of our reservation. I didn’t realize I booked the bar and we were hoping to be seated at one of the open booths- which were all open except 1.

    We love the food at Goma, however, the kitchen service is extremely slow. Five minutes after being seated, we order an appetizer- it came 35 minutes later. Our entrees took even longer. Our reservation was 5:30 and we received our entrees at 6:45. We were going to the Cavs game so we missed half of the first quarter. The slow kitchen service has been that way each time we have been at Goma. Really a shame as the food is so great
