Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours.
Highlights include a Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, the incredible BBQ Corn mixed in a delicious Parsley Butter and the unique Goldies Burger.
In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.

The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. The interiors are cosy and vibrant, with contemporary decoration, terracotta warm tones and a groovy musical atmosphere. Goldies features a noteworthy terrace that fits 30 guests.

Such a gem of a spot off the busy streets of Soho. Amazing vibrant flavours, beautifully simple menu, and great cocktails to go with it all. The staff are so friendly and attentive.

2 people for £140 - not great value really. ordered 6 chicken wigs, only 5 came steak came out all on its own - no sides or other orders, so ate it on its own - forgettable steak too pork chop was very tasty. fries and dips were great their £7 green salad shouldnt be more than a quid. awful.

Excellent food and really excellent service. The mixed grill is great value considering the size of the thing, but things do get a little pricey as they add up. Still, the quality is so high that you really can’t complain too much. You are getting top quality food here. The steak especially is fabulous, and those mini corn bite things are essential eating. The chips are a delight and the dips are a surprisingly spicy affair but really great. The restaurant itself is sleek and absolutely beautiful. We sat outside in the Kingly courtyard which was great for us but is generally hit and miss given it’s a shared space with a bunch of other places. If you want that lively environment akin to a European city, then it’s perfect when the suns out. Overall it was a really lovely dining experience. Thanks to Topjaw for the recommendation, and thanks to the waiting staff and chefs who were all top tier.

It was ok. Nothing special but solidly cooked food on an open fire. The padrons were under cooked - no char on them. The rest of the food was fine. Chips were fantastic. Restaurant was pretty empty on Father's day which was surprising and perhaps said a lot about the dining experience. The service was good, our waitress was welcoming and polite and reasonably attentive. Dinner for two with wine came to £182 which is quite a lot. Wasn't terrible but wouldn't go back or recommend to friends.

Booking said I had the counter but didn’t have that when sat down 3 different waiters kept rushing us for orders because they sat us at a table but they were rushing us as they didn’t sit us at the counter. Told us that from our 5:30 booking that they wanted the table back at 7:00… so only an 1.5hr. Felt like we kept getting evil eyes from the waiter because of the miscommunication. Overall wasn’t a pleasant experience at all.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price. Top jaws recommendation saying it was underrated…it’s underrated for a reason. We found the food to be overpriced for the quality – very average at best. The service was terrible. Dishes arrived at completely random times, meaning some of our group had finished eating while others hadn’t even been served, despite us waiting as a courtesy. One of the starters we ordered didn’t show up until after we had finished our mains, even though we asked about it twice. They did remove it from the bill, but by then it felt like too little, too late. Overall, a frustrating and underwhelming experience. I won’t be recommending this place and would definitely give it a miss.

Really enjoyed the meal. All dishes were yummy, love the bbq flavour of everything. The corn was probably best corn I've ever had. Not cheap but worth the money. Feel like the set menu should include fries & veg so it covers everything.
