We are currently serving breakfast on The Kitz bridge plaza and in the Antler Lounge. To inquire about our Summer dining reservations and offerings please call 435.655.2563. Drawing inspiration from its Austrian namesake, our culinary team deftly marries Bavarian specialties with the plentiful bounty of local Park City pastures to create delectable contemporary alpine cuisine. A variety of seasonal desserts from in-house Pastry Chef Catherine Balken are also available. We have a $50 per bottle corkage fee for wine our guests bring to the restaurant. Guests are permitted a maximum of two bottles per party.

Our dinner which was highly anticipated, was disappointing. we had a party of seven and could only get a 745 reservation which was later than we would’ve liked. When we arrived, there was almost no one in the restaurant. The service was very good. The salads and desserts were quite good, and the laminated bread was outstanding. How ever the entrées were not. The steak was over cooked, which even the chef acknowledged and offered to replace. Schnitzel was almost inedible , the lamb was good, the scallops and salmon were nothing special. For such a high price, it was not a good value. We would not recommend it to others, Particularly since there are so many other good restaurants to choose from in the Deer Valley Park City area.

Goldener Hirsh has truly gotten to be outstanding. Truly fine dining in Park City. We had salads, chicken, the vegetarian dish all excellent. The Pavlova for dessert is a real treat, dont miss it!!! We live in town and this is by far the best!!!

A gem of a find for us. We had been on the road for a few weeks and were on our way home. This was the antithesis of that food and just what we needed. We started with some craft cocktails that were different but superbly delicious. To start the meal, we had Gazpacho and Wild Mushroom soup. Both soups were out of this world. Next, we had the Tomato Tarte Tatin with Fromage. Again, our taste buds were dancing. Since this is a Bavarian themed restaurant, we of course ordered the Weiner Schnitzel for our main course. The wine list is decent with some good by the glass options including some Corovin only selections that were superb such as the Spottswood Cabernet. Dessert did not disappoint. We finished off with the Chocolate Fondue with berries, cake, marshmallows, and cookies to dip into some warm gooey chocolate while we sipped some excellent Cappuccino. If you are in Park City, Utah it would be a mistake to miss this place for a meal.

Best restaurant in the Park City area for excellent food and service. I would put this place easily up with some of the best places in NY. The only point I would make is the views through the windows, not the inside at all which is elegant, is not picturesque at least from our table.

The service was decent and our waiter was helpful with wine selection and friendly. However, the prices are very high and the quality wasn’t there. The Wiener schnitzel, which is supposed to be their specialty was horrible. The grilled octopus was so tough I could hardly cut it. The lobster tagliatelle wasn’t very special either. The filet was tender and cooked well, but very bland flavor. Many of us split and the meal was still over $1000. We left disappointed.

Best food between Aspen and San Franciso. I drove 5 hours from Jackson Hole and will do it again on a regular basis. This place really is that good.

Robert and crew were exceptional. Great to have someone from Italy to suggest a wine for our meal. The chef and crew sent out exceptional food and were plated beautifully. Unfortunately 5 unruly adolescents were allowed in the dining room unaccompanied by their parents. There were rowdy and swearing at each other and being physical to the youngest boy. Very sad to see considering their parents were not present. We'll be back though.

Our waiter did not return to the table to check on our cooking temperature, and my steak was under cooked rare with two bottles of wine that we paid $100 for corkage, never poured wine glass. We also had a birthday and expected something for dessert and never was offered it. Will not be returning again. We are a long time. Park City patrons. my steak was under cooked rare

Long time fan. Love the fondue (no apples this time?) Corkage fee at $50 is quite high as are wine prices. We will come back for the fondue but probably won’t be recommending the restaurant.

We had really excellent and friendly service. We’ve been here once before over Christmas and had a lovely meal. However, this time we felt like things were a little off. The mulled wine didn’t taste very strong, and our fondue arrived looking half full. We ordered a second round of cheese (just for two people, so you can imagine how little cheese was served!) Sadly the second round of cheese also tasted less strong, as if it was watered down by a cheaper cheese. Our waiter was so kind so we didn’t want to say anything. We ended up being charged a full second fondue price for the second order of cheese. Disappointing, and probably will not return again.

For years, we have come to the Goldener Hirsch for great meals. Unfortunately, the prices are so high these days that we have decided not to go as frequently. No reason to have entrees over $60.

Enjoyed the Cheese Fondue and really appreciated the gluten free bread option. Excellent service. Food was good, perhaps we had too high expectations. The Schnitzel was underwhelming. Large, but underwhelming.

No background music so table noise was louder than usual. Nice ambiance and great service. The fondue is a fun selection, but the wagyu selection did not taste like traditional wagyu. The Weiner schnitzel was a nice portion but the meat was a little dry. Deserts are lovely and nicely presented. This is a solid 4.5 out 5 with a few things that could elevate this German cuisine themed restaurant.

The food and service was very good. Must have the lamb meatballs with the fondue. Perfect! The duck was amazing and sauces were outstanding. The salmon Wellington was excellent. The deserts were delicious and well presented. Service was great as far as timeliness but our server could not answer any questions about the food or give preferences. Otherwise he was attentive and thorough. Hosts were amazing. Ambience is great. The hotel and restaurant is clean and makes you feel like you are in Austria. Great attention to detail. The Wienerschnitzel was so so and way overpriced. Expect to pay a premium for everything but especially the fondue. Price point should be more congruent to portions and quality. All said, will be back!

There was a special for prime rib for two to share. We asked for no extra salt in our food. Prime rib was extremely salty. It was also dry, almost like the rib was old. The waitress was wonderful. She was pleasant and professional. She exchanged the food for us.

Fondue Fondue Fondue!!! Cozy Swiss/Austrian Chalet. Schnitzel was just ok(overcooked). Waiter was nice but overwhelmed. Respectable wine list, and sommelier was great! Will definitely return during next year’s visit.

We originally had a reservation at Miraposa that they failed to tell us has closed. We had less than 24 hours to find a place in DV for 5 people for a special celebration. This place came through fabulously. We arrived at 8pm and were placed in the competent hands of Angelo from “the boot” of Italy as he told us. He helped us with some special wines that we brought and decanted for us and opened a nice bottle of Puligny Montrachet that we purchased from the list. We struggled a bit with what to order and he helped us zero in on the cote de boeuf and swordfish as a family style selection for the five of us. The food was amazing. The swordfish was a lb piece very thick and wide that was the best swordfish I have had in my life. The ribeye was equally as special. Kudos to the kitchen staff for perfectly handling these dishes. Charcuterie board as well as salads and soups were excellent additions. The brussel sprout sides and mushrooms were fantastic. All the food was spectacular. Service was first rate. Help with wine service and attention to details with our wines was greatly appreciated. I was very happy with the meal and a great evening had by all of us. I recommend this place for a high end special meal without reservation.

Had previously only dined for lunch, so I came back for dinner by myself one evening when I was free and it was an outstanding decision. Sat at the bar an enjoyed three or so hot mulled wines, which I've had elsewhere before, but not so well-balanced and fragrant as GH's own recipe. They were delicious. The entire meal was excellent and also took some effort to finish, as the portions were generous. Started with the Butternut Squash Cream soup, moved on to the Duck Breast, and was able to fit in some dessert.

Food was average, schnizel was dry and steak was nothing to write home about. Service was somewhat slow, but the Old Fashioned was the best so far in Deer Valley. This seems to be a go to place for fondue.

I knew this was a very pricey restaurant but wanted to try the fondue as a fun treat for a friend. The cheese fondue was good but there was not enough fondue for the dipping items provided. When we mentioned this to the server he said yes that is a problem. For $59 for cheese fondue the portion should be larger. The dessert fondue dipping items were not very good and we left much on the plate. The cost for cheese and chocolate fondue and 3 drinks with tip was $200.
