   I have been a customer for over 50 years and have never had a bad experience until last Sunday. There was not one redeeming thing about the meal. The business must have been sold. Freddie would have never let that food out of the kitchen. It hurts me to write this. Freddie used to put food on a plane and send it to my family in Pittsburgh. That is how much we thought of Golden Temple. I could usually overlook 1 bad experience, but It just doesn't seem like things will change.

   The food and cocktails were delicious. We really enjoyed the meal (sat in a booth which was really nice and private), and then headed over to the E Room bar for some dancing aferwards. The dj was great! Perfect spot for an all-around night out!

   The birthday dinner was excellent. We ordered sodas, combination platter, wonton soup, and egg drop soup. The main dish was moo shoo chicken, orange beef, and udon noodles with vegetables.

   There were a couple of very loud young groups as well as the owner-looking guy was talking too loud with one table so that we could not have a conversation. The food was incredibly intense with seasoning—we couldn’t finish at all.

   The ambiance was perfect!! Dimly lit with beautiful architecture and very little noise. The food was delicious. We had wonton soup, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, the Golden Temple fried rice and the general gau’s chicken. All our food was made to order and came out piping hot!! Our waiter Quan was a true professional tending to our every need !! We will definitely be back to this very special restaurant!!!

   Everything tastes very fresh and well prepared. The portions are on the generous side and we all took food home with us. It’s a beautiful space. It was during Chinese new year and we all got a special note with a half dollar coin attached as a gift which was lovely. The prices are on the higher side. I wanted to try their special ribs listed as a starter, but it was $31 and that felt like a lot. I would imagine a lot of effort goes into preparing them, but the price was a bit of a barrier in my mind. This is a restaurant we’ve driven by 1 million times and only went for the first time a couple weeks ago with some friends who recommended it. We came back with another couple because we had such a great experience. I would highly recommend you give it a go.

   We dined at Golden Temple on a Wednesday to celebrate Chinese New Year. We were treated like royalty. The food was fresh and delicious. The dining room is a wonderful setting for a nice dinner for two or a large group.

    Golden Temple is delicious! Oldie but goodie. Food is fresh and very tasty. On this visit, we did not have good service and felt rushed.
