   I was severely disappointed in the food. I had been to the location in Ft. Worth last month and everything was incredible - I even left a great review! I was excited to bring my wife and daughter to this location to share with them the great experience that I had and quickly realized that this wouldn’t be the case. We ordered the meatball appetizer and it was just lukewarm. We didn’t send it back because it was at least warm all the way through - would have preferred it to be piping hot. For dinner, I ordered the Rigatoni G&V, and it was delicious. The chicken was a little over-seared and dry, but was okay once I cut it up and used the mushroom sauce. My wife ordered the steak chopped salad, and when it came, it was missing the bacon, crispy onion straws, very little egg and bleu cheese crumble, and the steak portion was very small - definitely not worth $21.00. My daughter ordered the chicken parmigiana, and this was the worse dish of the evening. The chicken was scorched on the underside and had an awful taste throughout. We didn’t see our server again until we were ready to leave. When our server came back to our table, most of the food was still left on all our plates, and I asked for one small box for the pasta that came as a side to the chicken parmigiana - very noticeable that I wasn’t wanting to take anything else on the table home. She came back with it and asked us if we didn’t like the chicken. I showed her the underside of the chicken and told her that it didn’t taste good. I asked her for the check. She left and then another employee that I’m assuming was a manager came over with our check and told us that she removed the chicken. She wasn’t pleasant or apologetic and was rushed - that’s fine, I guess. Our server came back over and was extremely apologetic. I’m happy that they took the one item off the check to help the situation, but unfortunately, we won’t be back. I don’t give second chances at this price point.

   Would not recommend. Restaurant did not have red wine at a Goat and Vine Winery and restaurant. Food was poor and will not return.

   Pretty disappointed, not because of service, the girl that was the hostess also took our order delivered the food did table side prep. Just the overall food was not great. Had goat cheese bites and fritto misto which were both pretty good but entrees were sub par. The cheese wheel I’m pretty sure didn’t have a whole lot of cheese left in it for prep , looked scorched a bit so spaghetti which already had sauce on it was dumped in swirled around and came out looking like cold spaghetti and at 37 dollars that’s pretty expensive cold spaghetti, I did add a few meatballs (2) to get my spaghetti to 50 dollars, my bad. My wife had the salmon which was ok a little bland and very small. My son’s bolognese was actually pretty good just no real seasoning . Best part they do a really nice smoked old fashioned. Like I said the service was really good , the hostess/server/dinner prep young lady was fantastic. Just would not return for the food!

   Terrible service. Made reservation for 8p on a Tuesday. Waited 10 minutes, no greeter or evidence of any staff. Even peeked into kitchen no one around. So we left, won’t be back.

   We expected this restaurant in Allen to be top notch with looking at the menu and cost of food. The lasagna was just mediocre and it was not warm inside so sent back for warming up!! My husband’s linguini with clam sauce was also mediocre. Brussel sprouts were okay but some were dry. Granted this was a Tuesday night and only 2-3 other tables the whole evening. So it was our anniversary and we spent a lot of money for a very disappointing meal.

   Went on a weeknight for our anniversary dinner and was somewhat surprised that there were very few patrons. Service was GREAT! Ambience was nice. We were expecting better quality food, but came to the conclusion that this is more of a wine+brunch type of restaurant. The salad was delicious though; I’d recommend and if i were to visit again I’d stick with that and a glass of wine.

   Went here for our anniversary. It was very nice. Since it was Wednesday night. Not many customers were. By the time we finished our meal and ordered dessert no one was there so it was like a private experience. Best anniversary celebration! Will be back!

   Goat + Vine is a gem! The ambiance tells you that they value the guest experience and pay attention to the details. Had the eponymous salad with salmon (instead of chicken) and meatballs appetizer. So good!

    Went to try Goat and Vine with High expectations from reviewing the web page and the various reviews. Looking over the wine list and was surprised by the lack of virtuals available. The waitress was uneducated of the wines available but did say that all the vines are from the Goat and Vine Vineyards in California. I am sure they are from various vineyards from many different locations. Ordered 2 glass of their Cab It was okay nothing to rave about just okay. Ordered the charcuterie board. Well not sure when it was prepared and put on a shelf hoping someone would order it. Well we did and I am sure it was made the day prior. The 3 cheese were hard and dried out and or just disgusting looking. And nothing imported on the cured meats just some salami and pepperoni Better selection at the Kroger Deil. Returned it. Asked for the Check and we were gone and never to return as I would suggest to all further guest. Sorry Management get you stuff together if you want to see 2025 in your future Good Luck
