Goa Indian Farm Kitchen
Menu has changed a bit - great. Been to this restaurant many times. Always maintain their good standard. Noise level (music) a bit too high for me.
Great food and exceptional service .
A wonderful dining experience. Food was superb and service and ambience outstanding.
We've been going to GOA since it opened and all I can say is that it has always been consistent. The food is amazing. The service is perfect. The only negative is the cost. If it were less expensive, I would go far more often.
Fantastic dishes with true, authentic flavours. Easily the best Indian restaurant in the city. The only restaurant I can take my Auntie's to, haha. Can't get enough.
Food is as always AMAZING! This time around our server was a young man who could have been just a little nicer. Although not rude he was very curt and sarcastic.
Goa is a great place to sample a variety of delicious and authentic Indian food. I recommend sampling several Small Plates such as the Paneer tikka. It is a delicious creamy paneer (cheese) that is served with a flavourful chutney and fresh oven-roasted niblets of corn and popcorn. My friends and I also enjoyed sharing the Large Plates Coconut Prawn Curry. The prawns (similar to shrimp) are cooked to perfection (NOT to the rubber texture that many OTHER restaurants do when they overlook prawns) and the curry is rich is flavour. It is clear that Gos's chefs know how to create a harmonious blend of spices. Their Coconut Ginger Basmati is delicately flavoured and contains a sprinkling of tiny black cardamom seeds that add a delightful flavour. Of course we had to order the Butter Naan because it is a MUST with any Indian meal! It was served piping hot ... straight from the oven ... we had to wait a few minutes before we were able to pick it up!! Overall a delicious meal and we will definitely return soon.
Service was very good. Food was good but room for improvement on the Coconut Rice - perhaps a touch of raisin will bring out the taste even more. Naan were only on par - regular, butter or garlic. Recommended !
I’ve never had a bad dish here. The new menu is full of interesting food.
Great food, good ambiance and friendly service! A must visit
A bit pricey for the experience, but food was tasty and service friendly and helpful. Tables quite small and cramped.
We are regulars at Goa and the wait staff obviously know us. We always get excellent service! The food is top quality and very tasty, that's why the restaurant is always full. My compliments to the chefs, the wait staff, and the management at Goa. I hope this restaurant will be around for a long time!
Second visit, change in menu which was nice.
Very tasty and something for everyone.
Good portions
They are very limited with high chairs for babies and children
Smells yummy when you walk into restaurant and food delicious!!!
Lovely ambience
Presentation of food beautiful
Fabulously tasty food, as always. And I'm glad to say that the servers are attentive.
Slow service, below average food, expensive, wait staff basically sat on my food while trying to defuse a customer complaint by blaming them for all their issues and in the same motion dragged their rear facing dish rag across my meal. I don't know why this place has good ratings on google.
We found the food is excellent, high quality. In general we liked everything except for the density of the seatings. The tables are too close together and, especially on the side without the couch
The food and service were great.
We looked forward to our Valentines date at Goa Kitchen but were disappointed with the cuisine and the excessive high price. Thwre was a only a fixed menu at $55/person without any choices for dietary preferences. Though the food was tasty, it did not warrant the price. I will not reccommend this restaurant.
Very tasty food for a not too expensive price. Service can be a bit slow.
Fusion food is great!
The Lamb biryani was a little disappointing. Very little meat, a lot of rice and not enough flavours. A couple of the friends who were at the same table that night thought that the biryani I make is more flavourful and tasty. It's probably ok for those not familiar with Indian food. The appetizers and desserts were excellent.
Food was good but over priced considering the overall experience.
Food delicious, waiter amazing, ambiance great in the restaurant
First they couldn't find my reservation even though I showed them my confirmation email. I asked if they could still seat us given it wasn't my fault. They said no room. Then he eventually realized someone had already registered that I was there. We were seated but no waiter for a good 10 minutes when he brought us water. Again no waiter for at least another 10 minutes even though several were walking up and down. Not a huge deal as my friend and I were catching up but we were getting HANGRY. Only once another couple sat near us did we get any acknowledgement and our order was taken. From then the food came at a reasonable pace. Food was decent enough. Don't know what the regular menu is like as we did Winterlicious. Could step up their game with their service. Also water replenishment should be more consistent without having to ask given this is an Indian restaurant.
Great food and atmosphere. Staff is friendly but not over the top. Loved it
Tasty food and nicely presented. Staff are professional and pleasant. Could be noisy if busy but ok.
Vegetarian Coconut curry highly recommended with the cumin rice!
Service was great. All of the servers were very nice people. It's unfortunate that the Bayview and Sheppard area is full of snooty rich people who think they can snap their fingers at people or who are just rude. Made me feel bad for the servers, who were doing a great job. Food was also amazing. Their winterlicious menu was a hit!
We were here for winterlicious and the food was really good! The service was great too although our server was lovely the food did come out a bit too slow which was the only disappointing thing but the server was apologetic about it. The desserts weren’t my absolute favourite but probably because they didn’t fit my palette as much. Other than that it was great place and I’d love to be back!
I came here last week with friends for there winterlicious dinner menu and enjoyed it so much that I came back again the next day with my parents for their winterlicious lunch menu. The food is good quality as being indian myself, I have tried several dishes before. The lamb biryani, kulfi, lamb curry, soft garlic naan and shrimp pakora were just some of favourites. Highly recommend.
Excellent food. Well done. I keep going there.
Food okay, slightly better than I expected! Server tried to impress guests but forgot my draft beer! Overall, still worth a try, go for main menu rather than winterlicious courses!
I found the food on the spicy side and I’m Indian. It was a nice restaurant. The lamb was very tender and tasty. The chicken vindaloo was too much tomato and spice. Maybe I’m not used to it.
More variety needed.toomuch rice on plate not enough meat. Avocado salad had no avocado or salad only meat
Food was fresh and very flavourful! Naan was warm and delicious!
Excellent selection for Winterlicious and service was very good as well. I will be back for their regular menu as well as Winterlicious in the near future.
We have eaten there before. The food is so fabulous there. You cannot miss when going there!
Sincerely, Bebe
Went during winterlicious,. Enjoyed it!
My wife tried the vegitarian options and was very pleased.
Excellent food. Beautiful restaurant. Delicious food.
A great discovery! Brad & Dawn
