   We have dined many times at Glass, but note to self to avoid marquee days & set menu's. It was a production line from the minute we sat down. No time to enjoy a champagne as food just started rolling out before the champagne was even poured. From there staff would hover to remove plates to get the next course in. We deliberately sat with half empty plates to slow them down. Maitre D was very good as was our young waitress but service overall due to the pace was not what we were looking for on a Mother's day celebration. I need to ask..there is no way it was busier than a al la carte Saturday evening so why the set menu?

   Absolutely fabulous!! The staff were super attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was insanely good!! And the vibe was so lovely. We got a cozy booth. The restaurant was pretty full, but didnt seems crazy or loud. We loved it!

   A beautiful setting is marred by nonexistent service, almost inedible food and an automatic 5% credit card surcharge added to your already astronomical bill.

   We probably had the best table overlooking George St & the QVB., wonderful vista from where we sat. Our Thai waiter was wonderful & couldn’t do enough for us.. he lowered the blinds when the sun was blazing down on us. My Negroni arrived & when I tasted it, the flavour was not that of a classic Negroni. Our waiter changed it quickly for a classic which was great. The food was great & the mahi mahi cooked to perfection with the grape, almond, witlof & olive combo was delicious. We will be back & thank you for a lovely experience 🤩

   We had a Pre theatre booking. Service was excellent and quick (to help us arrive at theatre on time). Food was excellent as usual It’s a guarantee that you will always have a great experience and best quality food and drink Thank you Glass

   Amazing afternoon tea collab with Koko Black. The crème brûlée scone was delicious and all the Koko Black treats were amazing. It was my husband’s birthday and they gave us more dessert, on the house, to celebrate. Couldn’t fault anything. Highly recommend!

   Very disappointing. Steak cooked poorly, not rested enough with juices pooling all over plate. Peppercorn sauce, the consistency of water. Service very slow. Predinner drinks did not come until entree and second drinks came after the main meal was served.

    We were very disappointed with the service as our waiter barely spoke 10 words to us. The starters and desserts were ok though adding smoke to an overcooked chocolate fondant adds nothing to it. I had the special fish. It was cooked nicely but the best thing on the plate was the witlof! The hostess offered us a choice of water, we asked for tap but were served with 2 expensive bottles of water. We hadn’t realised the restaurant was part of a hotel and it showed. The restrooms were quite a bit away from the restaurant and needed a good clean. The final insult was being charged a public holiday surcharge of over 28 AUD dollars and over 6 to use a credit card. Overpriced and underwhelming!
