   Eaten there before. Previously Burrata was delicious with a balsamic glaze. This time tasteless. The mortedella is too thick. I am Italian, it’s interesting to me that I asked the waitress where the owner was from and she said ‘Croatia’ I didn’t eat anything but the cannoli was nice. The waitress was erratic, in your face and piling dishes and dropping things. It was bad. Not worth the money at all. Here’s the point; don’t open an Italian restaurant with an Italian menu when you’re not. If you are and the staff has no clue, even worse! But no Italian would ever serve Mortedella like that. Ever.

   Hi There, thank you for feedback. Your feedback is very important to us, as it helps us improve where we went wrong. We always strive to bring out the best experience when dining with us. I'm sorry your recent visit was up to our normal standard. I have past all the comments to our chefs in the kitchen. We apologize for the Burrata & Mortadella. Our Head chef is Italian and has been cooking Italian food for most of his life. I have spoken to the staff responsible for looking after your table and i believe the service could i been much better. As you stated before, you have had a better experience here and i believe this is a one off time. Please send us an email, so we can make your next time a much better experience.

   sorry to complain but the food was terrible. we spent $260 and we left more than 3/4 on each plate was really bad food

   Sadly we did not have a great experience. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive but the food service was terrible. We waited 90 minutes for dinner and one of our meals was forgotten and we had to wait a further 20 minutes for it to arrive. All the seafood dishes, marinara, risotto and gnocchi all had the same bland sauce that needed salt and chilli oil to help it along. The seafood mix was less than acceptable. I had in my marinara 2 prawns, 2 tiny muscles, 2 clams and 2 small pieces of calamari. For $38.00 this was unacceptable. We are locals and really wanted the night to be great as we were planning to return again the next week. Things really need to improve for us to return.

   Great place to eat. Friendly staff, it was not a noisy venue, although their was 8 of us (all oldies) we probably made the noise. Food was just so delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. Thank you to all.

   The food was good, but what let it down was the service. Two people drinks were missed off the order because someone hadn’t read the order probably, and we had to chase them up twice before we received them. Then one person ordered another beer which never arrived, even after we chased it up a couple of times. The chicken on the risotto was over done and everyone else had started their meals before it came out probably a good 5 mins after the rest of the meals were served. I had affogato and had asked for Tia Maria with it as I don’t like Frangelico and it came with Frangelico and I couldn’t get anyone’s attention to change it. Overall it was a good night but the wait staff need to pay more attention

   A really excellent addition to the Salt Beach Cafe/Restaurant Strip. A vast improvement on the previous Italian Pizza place. Thoroughly recommend. 5 🌟.

    An excellent local Italian. The calamari entree was the best ever - melt in your mouth and flavoursome. Service was friendly and attentive. A lovely evening all round.
