To enhance the experience we offer a selection of wines from around the world with a focus on small producers, a rotating list of craft beers, and a list of fun cocktails created by our bartenders.

Located at 809 W Randolph, Girl & the Goat was one of the first establishments in the Randolph Restaurant Corridor. We offer a variety of seating choices, including a comfortable lounge, bar seats, standard table seating, and four seats close enough to the kitchen line that you might be asked to help. Girl & the Goat accepts reservations but always welcomes walk-ins, nomads, adventurers, and those of you who don’t like to plan.

I visited the place third time. Every single time the food was fantastic. This time was the same. The place and service are also awesome. This was a great experience. I truly recommend the Girl and the Goat to everyone who is looking for creative cuisine.

Friendly and attentive staff, creative menu, and excellent food. Very upbeat atmosphere. It was a little on the loud side and the tables are close together so don't expect a quiet, private dining experience! I made a special effort to come to Girl and Goat while in town for a conference and was happy I did so.

The server helped the two of us choose 5 items to share. It was the perfect amount to taste a bit of everything! The food came out whenever it was ready so it felt like a five course meal! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Go for the goat!

This was my second dining experience at Girl & The Goat. The food was as good as I remember, but unfortunately the service was not. Our waitress rushed us through our meal by insisting that we order all items up front. Our reservations were at 6:15pm and we were out of there in less than an hour. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.

We were celebrating our anniversary, and returning to this restaurant after four years, and the wait staff pulled out all the stops for us. It was going to be a special meal regardless, but they really helped put it over the top. And we knew the food was going to be superb, so we weren’t surprised there!

Come here for the delicious and creative food. You will try combinations of foods you haven't tried before and everything was delicious. Make a reservation early as it books up quickly. As evidenced by the amount of people standing in the bar who tried to walk in and get a table. my problem with our visit comes with the experience with the waitstaff. There is ample people working at the restaurant. At one point there were about 10 people actively working behind the bar. There were small groups of waitstaff spread throughout the restaurant, 5 people were always standing at the concierge desk. My problem was with such an abundance of waitstaff I felt chased out of our table. Waiters were constantly walking up to our table hands out to clear a plate and then quickly turn away when they realize it still had food on it. EVERYTIME we scooped the last big chunk off a plate someone's came within a minute and took the plate. Never asked it we were done. Usually the plates had something left tha I wanted to eat with the bread that I had bought.
I would recommend this restaurant because the food was delicious. I would say when the waitstaff push you out the door, don't take it personally.

Went to G and the G on a recent trip to Chicago. We had heard from friends about the unique menu, excellent food and service. They did not disappoint! One of the best restaurant meals we have ever had. The halibut was outstanding and who wouldn't order the wood oven roasted pig face??????? The goat carpaccio was excellent as well. Nice wine list, not outrageously priced. The Service was outstanding - perfect pacing. My only complaint would be the noise level if seated by the folks waiting at the bar. Overall excellent experience - will definitely return here.

The food and service were impeccable. Unfortunately, it was a little loud at dinner so was hard to hear everyone speaking.

As always, the service and food was incredible! Girl and the Goat is our favorite restaurant and we try to make it a regular date night. Jerson, who has been our server a few times, helped us to try new things and made the experience ten times better! Thanks for another great night at Girl and the Goat!

We were in from out of state and very excited to be eating here. This was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance was really interesting, service was friendly and attentive and the food was over the top. The 4 of us ordered 13 items and shared everything-the portions are perfect for that style of dining. Only one of those, the shrimp, failed to blow our minds- not bad! And duck tongues may just be everyone's new favorite!

I've had the pleasure of eating here 3 times and each time it was delicious! This place is not pretentious, they have a way of making you feel like anyone is welcome and a part of a cool scene at the same time. The menu maybe intimidating to some but there is something for everyone. The dishes I've had are very rich and flavorful. I can't stop thinking about the green beans!

Great food and great service, been coming here every time I go to Chicago. Duck Tongue, Wood Oven Roasted Pig Face, Green Garlic Pierogies, Chickpea Fritter, and Braised Beef Tongue, was what we ordered and all was great, great beer selection and wine was fantastic too. Highly recommended.

Stef Izard is from my hometown of Stamford and went to support her top chef winning and little did I know what I was in for! Never in my wildest dreams would I think I I would eat Goat !! We had the goat empanadas - the tuna tartare - the Brussels sprouts - the strawberry dessert - and the short ribs. Amazing. Every single thing. You order a few small plates. The service was exceptional. The prices were great. The ambiance was perfect. Make a reservation. ASAP! This is to not be missed. Whether you are just hearing about it and live in Chicago or you’re visiting. It’s a must on the to do list. Absolutely incredible and we want to go back to Chicago just to eat there again.

After several tries to get a reservation here, I scored one. I brought my foodie friend from out of town, and she loved it. As for me... while I'm pretty adventurous with food, I'm not quite as adventurous as the menu here. The presentation is beautiful, and the food looks incredible -- but some of the combinations were a bit odd and off-putting to me. I wanted to love it, but didn't quite get there. The dessert, however, was worth the trip: ice cream balls with caramel corn on a fluff of whipped cream.

Sat at the chef’s table. So excited we got that spot. Perfect place for a couple of foodies! Each dish was magazine gorgeous. The flavors in everything were complex and delicious. Cooks, expeditors, and our server were all excellent! One of the best dining experiences of our lives, hands down.
