Felt a bit rushed by our server as had a break in between and they came straight over to try and take our plates away for our main course.

Cheaply made, bland food at London prices. Service charge was automatically added on at 15% when using the tablet on the table to order and we were then asked if we wanted to pay a tip on top when checking out. Our daughters meal came out long before everyone else's meaning we couldn't eat as a family. It was a busy Saturday but I feel they could do better.

We had a great time at Sunday brunch. The range of brunch is small but very comprehensive and there is the addition of the breakfast options. We ate well. I'd really like to highlight the friendly service. It's a busy place and we were served quickly and with real friendliness. We had one person in the group who has a dairy allergy and felt that this was taken very seriously. Top team

When we arrived, we had booked a table, there were plenty of empty tables. We were sat at a small table for 2 in the shade, we asked if we could move to the bigger 4 table in sun but were told by the waiter they were reserved for 4 people even though lots were empty. My friend then asked another waiter if we could move, he was lovely and said of course and let us sit on 4 table in sun. Food was fab as always but the service in this branch leaves a lot to be desired. This is my 3rd visit, food always fab but service bad. Waited ages to try and order another drink etc. waited ages for bill. I've tried to email them about issues in the past but they are not interested and blatantly tried to say I was the issue! Bad customer service from management down it would seem.

I don’t expect much from a chain restaurant and this place lived down to this level. Very average food, indifferent service and the atmosphere of a motorway service station. Never again!

We were served by “Nicky” who was a really kind and attentive server. My friend with me had mobility issues and they were very kind and careful to make sure that she had a good table. The service was good although a little bit slow sometimes and difficult to make eye contact with staff members. Also, I have to say that the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon did not taste all that high-quality. It was style and presentation over content. I have tasted better eggs Benedict - these were a little bland. But the mocha was hot and creamy and well balanced between caffeine and chocolate. And there was good attention to detail when we requested for the sauces to be served on the side. I think the furniture feels a little cheap. And honestly, I think if tablecloths were used, it might add a little more class and ambiance to the experience. The table was sticky. Otherwise it’s a good spot. It’s not really a five star experience but with tweaks based on the observations I’ve made I’m sure it can be improved.

The service was very good, staff were cheerful, polite. Our table was dirty. Food was below what Giraffe used to be. I chose the duck stir fry as I had it regularly years ago. Then, it had lots of pak choi and other vegetables. This time, no vegetables, hardly any duck, loads of noodles, sauce wasn't nice. Lots of ice cream for dessert was nice. Hummus starter was overly spicy. Bill had the optional service charge already included. I probably will go elsewhere next time I'm in the London South Bank area.
