   So eating in London is as to be expected in any city. Food at Giraffe was mediocre as described and warm but nothing special. Communication from.our server was polite and efficient. The tables were clean but the floor was dirty with food with cutlery, napkins etc not being swept up. What let giraffe down significantly was when after we had paid my husband visited the bathrooms. Next to him using the urinals was a member of staff who finished and then proceeded to walk out of the bathroom without washing his hands, just wiped them instead on his apron. This member of staff was responsible for cleaning tables. GROSS. We will never eat at Giraffe again.

   Lovely location, friendly staff, clean and tidy, food came quick. Unfortunately the food was terrible, and very expensive.

   It was ok, we came back because last time everything was perfect. This time we were seated and ordered off the tablet. It took a long time before our drinks arrived and the food too. Then we asked for water and in the end I had to go and get it myself from the bar. Just disappointed

   The smell from the toilets near our table was unbearable and really ruined our dining experience. Everytime a fellow diner opened the toilet doors, the smell gusted across our table.

   Awful gluten free experience. Website has a good gluten free menu which lured us in to a false sense of security. Arrived to be told fries were unavailable, as was the rodeo burger which is on the gluten free menu online. Would not swap out fries for plain tortilla chips for my autistic & coeliac child. Gluten free “meals” are the same price but you get the burger only with no side.

   Worst Caesar salad I’ve ever had but cheaper than most places so that’s probably why. A Caesar salad should NOT be padded out with piles of shredded cabbage - that’s just penny pinching. I’d rather have paid more and had a proper Caesar salad.

   The food was fine for what you paid. The service however was shocking - we booked a table and in the notes wrote that we had a buggy that we needed to use and we would also need a highchair. When we arrived it felt like we were a complete inconvenience even though we booked and I’d stated in the booking about the buggy and highchair. The fact that there is a 12.5% service charge when you don’t actually have any service as it’s all ordering is done via an iPad is ridiculous and on the iPads there is no option to remove it. The small amount of service we did receive was being shown to the table, the menus being given to us and that was it. They also walked over to the table to take our menus before we had even ordered our food. The experience was not good at all and we will not be returning in a hurry.
