Jen and her team are awesome for the first step into the restaurant. Cocktails and food are great. This is our first time here definitely won’t be the last.

My husband couldn't stop stating how much he loved each dish. We got the Hokkaido milk rolls, Onion dip, Scallop Crudo, Dan Mien Atriciana, Gnocchi, Grilled fish special, Chau Siu Pork & the Spaghetti special. All Were delicious! There were 6 of us and we always eat family style which is what the server suggested. One of the other added touches I loved was at the end they wrapped the leftovers in a little box wrapped with cute florescent rattail cording. Cute detail to your leftovers which we enjoyed the next day. We will be back. So nice to have two fantastic restaurants right next door to each other - Fete gas been one of our all-time favorites, now we can add Giovedi to our favorites list.

The food and service was really good. The price point is more of a 'special occasion' kind of place versus 'everyday dining'. The open air is nice, but the inside was a little warm because the doors are open to the back. The crab pasta is wonderful.

Pleasantly surprised how busy Chinatown was on a Friday night and Giovedi was packed. Nice seeing the lively atmosphere. Seating is limited inside but they have a huge enclosed patio area which were hosting large parties. We had the Cacio e Pepe which was excellent. They infused some foies gras into the butter which made it extra rich, yum. Next was the Char Siu which was also excellent. Smoked in house and not the char siu you get from chinese restaurants. It was tender and moist and a decent size serving for two. We also had the pesto pasta which was good but not great. It lacked a little flavor especially compared to the other dishes. For starters we had the milk bread with sesame butter which was also just ok. I've had milk bread elsewhere which was super soft and buttery but this one was more like a nice dinner roll and for $11 it was a bit pricey. Our other starter was the green salad which was flavorful and well balanced. Dressing was just right and the toasted bread crumbs gave it a nice crunch. It would have been nicer if it was cut up a bit more as the leaf sizes were a bit big and using baby endive would've helped the dish but hey, thats what a knife is for. I would definitely go back.

Another fun night at Giovedi with great food, tasty drinks and wonderful service! I love that they have specials now...even though i didn't get to try any of them, it makes me want to go back ASAP!
