It was ok, but they said they had omakase when I called before arriving and when I arrived the next day they said they haven’t been doing it for weeks.

Amazing sushi quality + interesting menu offerings. It is a tick pricey even for the quality though. Would certainly recommend GINKO to any sushi lovers though.

Our service was incredibly slow. The server forgot one of our appetizers two separate times. Usually we have a great experience but it was loud and slowwwww on this particular occasion

First time visit for my daughter and me to do a sushi indulgence. The place is small and dark, as would be expected in a basement bar. Still, our seats at the bar were great, as we had interesting conversations with the chefs. Food was fabulous no matter where we went on the menu (toro, otoro, hamachi, wagyu, unagi, foie gras, sea urchin). Our server really made the experience, as she was affable, very well informed, attentive and patient. We will be back.

Absolutely stellar experience. We went for omakase and were informed they were down a chef and couldn’t do a curated 5-course omakase, but the server offered suggestions and we created our own meal and it was truly outstanding. We’ll be back for our omakase!!

Leave it to Dante to make a basement into one of, if not the best sushi joints in town. Every time we visit CLE, we go to Ginko.

What is going on with the waiter/waitress… Forgets the order, but keep on asking if we want more. Maybe focus on taking the first order properly. They need some serious training. This is worse than having some high school part timers
