Food was excellent; music too loud and dance music, odd fit for ambience
We had a big group and tried a lot of things. Everything was unreal!!! So good. Loved the ambiance.
Great! Staff was attentive/excellent service
Awesome food and service. I will be back!!!
Excellent food! The dry fried green beans are to die for! This is a new favorite!
Food was amazing- the best papaya salad ever. Super friendly staff. Love this place. Will definitely be back.
Wow! The best meal we have had in a long time! Pad thai, Khao sou and shrimp dumplings. Can't wait for lunch to have the leftovers.
I recently moved to Salt Lake from San Francisco, and Ginger Street is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants here. Excellent spot for a business lunch, date night, or dinner with friends. Food, drinks, service, and ambiance are exactly what I’ve been looking for! There was a DJ playing on Saturday night, which added to the energetic vibe and atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back for more drunken noodles & yellow curry (you’ve got to try both)!
Restaurant offers Americanized Thai and related Southeast Asian cuisine. The food is just okay (drunken noodles) to good (chicken sandwich), but the main draw is the hip and casual vibe. Overall, a nice addition to the SLC downtown restaurant scene.
Great, attentive service and appreciated that they take reservations. Would prefer more tables with regular chairs rather than stools.
We will definitely go back. Atmosphere and quality of food was amazing. Service, excellent.
There was nothing creative about this food. I expected Asian food with a twist but it was basically thai food that was dumbed down - nothing special and even americanized (like no sticky rice or mint with the larb gai) so blander than thai food. I was super disappointed as I thought the creator came from provisions (which is excellent quality).
Creative food. Not perfect but pretty good. Duck fresh rolls were amazing
The food we here was generally good, with the exception of the rice. The rice served with the dishes was cool and generally very mushy. I was very surprised at this, since you would expect that an asian restaurant would get the rice right. The restaurant was noisy, even though it wasn't particularly busy, I wouldn't want to come here when it was really crowded. I also found our high-top table with stools (no backs) to be very uncomfortable. I wasn't exactly expecting a fast-food environment, but that was what it generally seemed like to me. I could never have been there more than an hour with the uncomfortable seating arrangement, but I'm guessing that they plan to turn tables very quickly. I suppose I had expected an experience something more along the lines of Provisions, especially when they take reservations, but this is a very different type of restaurant. This is turn not only in menu focus, but also in general concept. The server was really attentive and very helpful, perhaps our group just wasn't overall positive on the vibe of the place.
The food this time was a miss. As someone who is gluten-free it could have been better. However, the dessert was so amazing!
Wandered in for a late night snack and was delighted with wonderful food and service. I had the papaya salad. It was fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of dressing and crushed peanuts. I loved the green beans in it as well. Followed up with the crispy duck egg rolls. They were fantastic! I will be back for those egg rolls! Service was attentive and fast. To cap off a great meal, the manager came by and offered me a taste of their Thai Iced Tea soft serve ice cream. Omg, perfect way to finish my meal. Yum!
Yummy food and great ambiance. The prices add up fast, but overall a fun dining experience.
Delish and fun flavors!
