I was very disappointed in the food and the cost. $25 for Curry Chicken Fried rice which had NO chicken in it and was drenched in some sort of spicy Mayo. The predominant taste in it and the Yakamein is SALT and also, $25 for the same amount you'd get at Jazzfest. The mixed drinks were very good and the wings were good, but you can keep the rest of this very limited, expensive menu.

I was really impressed by the Creole-Chinese fusion, and our alligator in the house sauce was AMAZING. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so didn't have to wait long at all for our drinks or food.

When we arrived, the hostess told us that the kitchen was on break for 15 min and that we needed to come back later. It appeared that the chef and staff were on strike. We did get seated and the waiter was very nice but clearly upset. The chef came back in but was very angry about something. We were the only one in the restaurant so it wasn’t busy. At that point, another group came in and the chef yelled out to lock the door! Food was ok but they messed up the dessert. It was ugly and bizarre. Chef was horrible to our waiter and we could hear him yelling and cussing at him. Went down for coffee the next morning at 6:30 and the same hostess (not friendly at all) told us that Chef wouldn’t be in until 8:30 so no breakfast until then. The hotel was very nice but the restaurant is a disaster. Totally unacceptable behavior by everyone except our poor waiter who was trying so hard.

Long wait without order being taken. Ran out of most menu items. To be fair it was Mardi Gras

Food was extraordinary! It was so delicious that we ended up ordering a second order of the curried chicken thighs. They were outstanding. Kudos to the chef!
