    Felt rushed!! Staff continually wanted to bus plates while we were eating. Asking even if they could box one plate up of one of the full diners while 3 people were still eating. So here’s 3 people eating and a box sitting for 20 minutes. Continually asking if we were done. I think we told them NO 8X.

    My husband and I had an early pre-show dinner here on a Saturday night. Many other diners had the same idea so it got busy fast. I understand the rush is sometimes hard to deal with, but our server did a terrible job at handling this. After initially stopping by our table, he did not come back to take our drink order for 30 minutes (after I waved him down) and it took another 15 minutes to get the drinks. He took away our silverware and did not bring us new forks until after we got our entrees and again had to waive him down. In the meantime, we watched and heard him have extended conversations with other tables. As far as the food goes: cocktails were great; spring rolls were ok, but fell apart too easily so were a mess to eat; fried chicken was good; Penang curry was not quite integrated enough so disappointing.

    Excellent food and great service. Kat was our server and she was wonderful. The hardwood floors make it a little loud and cold, but the rest made up for it. Our new “go to” place!

    The fried chicken and poke bowl are always good and once again we enjoyed those dishes. The caesar salad was also good. However, the strawberry salad which is usually very good was wet so the dressing wouldn't adhere so that was disappointing. There were also hardly any goodies. We did not send it back though as it took quite a while to get the drinks and even longer for the salads. The service was extremely slow from serving the beverages from the bar to dinner and we were only provided with a menu for bottles of wine versus a cocktail list and drinks by the glass. Overall the meal was good but the service was lacking in timing and communication.

    We ordered a lot, they had vegetarian friendly options. Most of the food was sweet, shrimp was frozen when served and the noodles/curries were overly tangy. Wouldn’t go back here again, the food quality is below average. The service and ambiance was good though!

    Thoroughly disappointed with this Restaurant - called few times before visiting Anchorage to request their help since we were celebrating a birthday and found the server EXTREMELY RUDE right as we sat down. To avoid any situation we requested the Manager’s help and he changed our server. Have not seen the wait staff with such poor attitude. Food was decent and they did not even want to bring a small piece of desert with candle. Had to remind after the server brought us our check - he then brought whipped cream with a candle in it !!! They charged us corkage for an extra bottle of wine and had to request them to correct which they did. Overall a very disappointing experience and regretfully would not recommend this place.

    What a great find in Anchorage. We started off with the taster egg rolls and split a beef curry because the serving sizes are huge. Some of the tastiest curry I’ve ever eaten.

    The food wash delicious. The hostess and waitstaff were very attentive. We went at 6:00 and had reservations on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was full by the time we left at 7:15. Highly recommend. We will be back

    The food was good but not great. The service was not very good. Waiter never came back after ordering so my wife didn’t get another drink and never checked to see if the food was cooked properly.

    Wonderful experience at Ginger, as always. Crispy frites with that amazing wasabi aioli, rich & delicious Gouda risotto arancini started our evening off right. Entrees were fabulous: General Tso's Chicken for him, Poke Bowl for me; both enjoyed immensely. Service was top notch; big thanks to Mason for professionalism and great personality. Ginger=Highly recommended.

    New favorite restaurant in anchorage!! The service was friendly and quick, the food was so delicious, and the restaurant is cozy. It is a great place for date night or to take out-of-towners. We had the eggrolls and soup of the day for starters, although we were eyeballing the chicken wings at the table next to us! For entrees we had the lberico pork and the mee krob. Everything was fantastic. Will definitely be back!

    My wife and I are local residents who venture downtown for special occasions as we did yesterday for our 48th wedding celebration. Ginger remains one of my favorite places because the menu offers so many wonderful choices. We especially enjoy the Asian fusion part of the menu. The staff is first rate as well and it’s relative small size means that it’s easy to have quiet conversations.

    Our meals were excellent. The general tso’anders fried chicken was flavorful with a little spice and the chicken was moist and tender. The Ahi tuna was cooked to perfection and it was a good portion. The Panang Beef curry had fresh ingredients in a delicious curry sauce and the Scallops Mac and Cheese was a large portion with scallops being fresh and tender. We also tried the Green Tea Crème Brûlée , which was also very good. The brûlée was smooth and the sugar crust was not too thick. Overall, it was great food, good service and the noise level was such that we could have a conversation. We will definitely be returning.

    Second visit- and ranks up there at the top of our list for Anchorage restaurants. The MeeKrob is a must. Ahi tower is wonderful too as a light and super flavorful appetizer. Make sure to ask for cocktails that are not on the menu. I ended up with a fabulous passion, fruit martini, off menu. Service was great.
