   My first two previous experiences we’re Very disappointing and I was reluctant to book another dinner reservation but…it was my spouse’s birthday choice and that’s what he selected! What a difference!!!!!!! The food, staff and ambiance were all amazing. You now have a new fan and I’ll be back again 👍👍

   Gibsons Italia never disappoints. Always our 1st dining choice when coming downtown Chicago. Food is fabulous. Staff is fantastic. View is stunning.

   One meal was inedible. It was deducted from invoice. After that what had been good service deteriorated. We were cut off from drinks after cocktails and one glass of wine. We were definitely not impaired. We were celebrating a double birthday. Obviously they wanted us to leave due to booking schedules and the bad dinner. No birthday recognition or complementary dessert. We decided to stay an extra 46 minutes and drink water. Beautiful views and wonderful menu.

   Absolutely loved my experience at Gibsons Italia! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was truly top-notch – attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The octopus was a definite highlight, cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. And you absolutely have to save room for dessert – SBA - absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

   So we were recommended Gibsons by a couple people. We saved it for our last night in the city and man were we disappointed. The food mad MEH. Worst sea bass I’ve ever had. The pasta were luke warm (not hot at all). The waiter seemed like he did not want to be there. It was so loud you could barely hear the person right next to you speaking. I will say, it did have a great view. But if you are wanting GOOD food. Save your money and go to Bavettes, Sunda, or Ciccio mio!

   This was our first time and the experience was amazing. The food was beyond delicious. The Sea Bass and Chicago Cut Steak were cooked to perfection. The twice baked potatoes were to die for. Christian our waiter was so accommodating as well as the entire wait staff and managers. Lastly our view of the Chicago River was excellent and so romantic. We will definitely be back !!!

   We had an impeccable experience today for lunch … the food, drinks, service and ambience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend and we’ll be back soon!

    Our server, Moses, was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He had lots of recommendations and we loved the arancini, charred broccolini salad, and the bone in filet!
