Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse has been a Chicago icon since partners Hugo Ralli and Steve Lombardo opened its doors in May 1989. The classic American steakhouse serves Gibsons Prime Angus Beef and Gibsons Grassfed Australian Beef. The Chicago cut ribeye was exceptional, filet was very tender. I asked for medium and needed it cooked a little more, no problem. Came back perfect and with fresh hot onions and mushrooms, cold ones were whisked away. The staff go out of their way to make sure all is taken care of. Glad we made an advance reservation. Shout out to Dimitria our server, she is on top of her game!

The service here is really the star! The servers are well educated on the cuts of steak and are super helpful when ordering! Sides are served as sharable which is nice for a group. The portions are large and you definitely get your moneys worth. We would highly recommend Gibsons when in Chicago!

Had an incredible meal, fantastic service in a vibrant area of town. Our server, Montrose was helpful, knowledgeable and so much fun. He made our time special indeed! Thank you.

Every time we visit Chicago, we make it a point to have dinner at Gibson‘s. Everyone there is great and gives us very attentive service. The food is delicious and the ambience is fun

Completely recomended!! We went around 630 for an early dinner. Everyone was so friendly! Our waiter (Sorry I forgot he s name, but was a very tall Serbian young man) made our dinner even better! The meat was perfectly cooked, my daughter salad was awesome and the have very good with nes to choose! If you love meat don’t doubt to go!
