Incredible experience. Very cool historic building with nice ambience. Food was fantastic, from the appetizers to dessert. The service was impeccable. Favourite restaurant in Montreal.

Je mange au Gibby’s depuis près de 30 ans. Je dois dire que depuis la vente de l’entreprise à un groupe le restaurant est en train de perdre tout son charme et son authenticité. Plusieurs items du menu son disparu tel quela sauce Béarnaise, la tarte aux champignons, la tarte à la lime, le poulet à la Kiev et j’en passe. L’ambiance est transformé avec l’éclairage plus actuel qui enlève beaucoup du charme originel. Même le personnel de longue date son triste de tout se remaniement. Certes la qualité est au rendez-vous et le goût est authentique pour ce qui reste. J’y vais y retourner moins souvent c’est certain et le mot sera passé au gens auquel j’aimais tellement en parler de part tous les beaux souvenirs que j’ai pu y vivre dans un temps passé.j’espère que les changements vont s’arrêter!!!

My husband and I were in Montreal to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. While we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, we felt rushed in ordering our food. We were with another couple and were catching up with life and both couples felt they were trying to turn over tables and we wanted to enjoy our evening together.
