Step back in time as you enter Gibbys, housed in a magnificent 200-year-old building in Old Montreal. This charming restaurant which boasts historic stone walls, original beamed ceilings and cozy fireplaces, all combine to make dining at Gibbys a memorable experience.

Experience the finest seafood, fresh sumptuous chilled oysters, large choice of the freshest fish, and Gibbys’ expertly aged delectable steaks, cooked to perfection. We lavish our guests the moment we seat them, with complimentary oven fresh bread, crunchy dill pickles, croutons and bacon crumble.     The beef wellington was delicious and cooked to perfection! would definitely recommend. Caroline our waitress definitely made our experience even better. Her customer service is exceptional.

    Fun experience, but an intense atmosphere and only OK meals (Halibut for both of us). Very busy and formulaic. Our previous visit, 35 years ago, was a higher end experience. Very glad we went but we may wait another 35 years to return.
