    Service was fair, attention to detail was lacking. Appetizer was ordered and salads came out on top of it then there was a long delay for our meals. Drinks weren't refilled and we weren't checked on.

    Nice atmosphere. Very cool building. Our waiter Sebastian was amazing! He was so helpful in giving us direction with the menu and telling us the wonderful places to see in Montreal! You were spot on Sebastian, thanks for making our stay in Montreal so memorable.

    Been coming here for over 50 years . We waited over 15 minutes for drinks . Food was very good . Had lobster tails, it was my husband’s birthday traditionally we got a cake but no picture as always . We were disappointed.

    Third time eating here as I have to eat her every time I visit Montreal and Gibbys is always on point. Service was top notch as was the food. Celebrated my birthday and is a great spot for a special occasion.

    We were celebrating my nephew’s engagement and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Gibby’s. Food was excellent and our waiter, Justin went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable.

    This was our 50th. Wedding anniversary and was where we had our wedding reception. We’ve been going back on our anniversary for that many years. It’s a beautiful restaurant and love the decor however over the years have noticed changes. The Caesar salad that came with your meal has now been changed to Gibbys salad which is not the same or as good. The main courses have already been excellent. This visit was disappointing as the service and attention had a lot to be desired. When we finally got our waitresses attention the coffee she brought was lukewarm. She did bring a cake and took our picture but the cake had nothing saying anniversary as we’d had in the past and the cake was nothing to write home about. Although we did enjoy being at Gibbys again the whole experience was a little disappointing.
