First, the food was phenomenal. Everyone at my table got a steak, i however, ordered venison. Being an avid deer hunter, I was curious as to Georgie’s take on this dish. It tasted phenomenal and was cooked to perfection. The only thing that I hated was the dish was too small! With the $45 venison, you only get 2 small cuts of meat. I will be back, of course, to order many more dishes from Georgie.
Honestly, the best steakhouse in Dallas.
Went for birthday brunch . The staff is wonderful and welcoming from the minute you enter the door. The true star is the food . I had the chicken and waffles which was delicious . Nice roasted chicken and the waffles with a honey butter are amazing . My friend had the sausage and scrambled eggs. The sausage was a proper Cumberland England sausage and eggs were cooked perfectly. Our server was wonderful . Great experience.
They have the most incredible pancakes. The service is exceptional. Highly recommend it
Had to wait 25 minutes for our table. Food service took forever!!! The food was delicious when it was served. It was loud and dark.
Excellent in every way
Great service. Attentive servers. The ambiance was beautiful. We could not be happier to spent our Anniversary dinner there.
Georgie is absolutely fantastic!
Everything on the menu is outstanding but what makes it so special is the first rate service you get the minute you walk in the door. The entire staff is second to NONE!
I go to Georgies because every time I go it’s an amazing experience! Best restaurant in Dallas!
Had an amazing time at Georgie Saturday night. The Rosewood boneless ribeye melted in my mouth and the staff were on their A game - especially the bar crew. Food is always great there.
We sat outside. Great evening. Great food.
The always amazing Georgie continues to be amazing. Fantastic food, knowledgeable and attentive staff, vibrant atmosphere.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Georgie's. It was the perfect choice. We ordered A Taste of Georgie, 5 Course Meal. All of the courses were presented beautifully and tasted absolutely amazing. The service we received was outstanding and we will definitely be back.
Absolutely amazing. May be the best meal of my life!!! Blackmoor wagyu filet - do not miss it if they have as daily feature. Service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.
Great restaurant, like the ambiance and the food is great.
We went for brunch. The price point is about right for the quality of the food, which is excellent. The buildout for the restaurant is very nice.
Our level of service for the meal was poor. Although polite when available, the waitstaff was rarely found and displayed a casual indifference to our table, even after we asked a waitress if it would be possible to order from her because our waiter had disappeared for a long period of time. The table next to us also expressed frustration that they had not seen a waiter over a long period of wait time, perhaps just an issue for that day.
Went to Georgie last night for my birthday and loved it! Received a birthday welcome and complimentary birthday dessert. Fun atmosphere, ridiculously delicious food, and fantastic service. The steak tartar, crudo and venison were worth getting again.
We had a 6:30p reservation and the restaurant was already full inside and a few tables available outside. Due to the weather we opted to sit indoors, the tables were VERY close to one another, too tight considering there was no privacy to any conversation being had. The hostess and manager seemed eager to please but I didn't feel that our table was prepared and ready for us. During our appetizer someone came by and placed a Georgie card on our table wishing us a "Happy Anniversary" Another server brought my husband the wrong wine mid-way into his dinner. He ordered a Pinot Grigio not Pinot Noir. They missed the ball on recognizing our anniversary and brought a champagne toast towards the END of our dinner entrees - the thought was nice but they obviously missed it and probably should have not done it all. Overall the wait staff seemed well seasoned but had to juggle too many tables. The menu was limited but very good, I would have liked to have had the option for and evening "special entrees"and seen more green veggies available throughout the choices.
The ambience was more of a scene and literally everyone seemed part of their neighbors conversations. I would recommend this restaurant for foodie friends dining together and not for a private dining experience. There was nothing private or intimate about the setting. Truly - they should remove a few tables and give some patrons a little more space. Great place if you want to be packed into a bar or dine like a sardine (which are not on their menu lol).
Presentation, food and service is top notch! Always a perfect evening !
We had a great time! They recommend the best wines to go with our main course and the food was fantastic! My husband ordered a George T. Stag and they gave him George T. Stag Jr. instead, but that was the only mishap. It was insanely crowded - difficult to walk through to our table and back to the exit. It was also VERY loud, but was a fun night! Worth a try at least once!
Business in the large booth to the right of the entrance. Great food and great energy in the restaurant, but at times a little warm.
Amazing experience every time we go!!!!!
Fabulous ribeye. Also the shrimp appetizer was quite good. The service was attentive and can do.
Great decor and service!
Most amazing dining ever! Everything here is outstanding, service, drinks, and best of all food!
Too crowd! no space to stand even. With my appointment I still wait for long time.
Always a great experience at Georgie! Thank you to the amazing team.
The vibe and experience was ok in part to I was with 2 other friends that I haven’t seen in a year so we had allot to catch up on. We were sat at 6:15 and our order was not taken until 7:15..... from there it was a shot in the dark if the staff came around to check on us. There was not a mask in sight on any staff. I understand we are moving away from that but the wait staff was literally yelling in our face over the noise. It made me slightly uncomfortable and I’m very neutral to covid so that is not a bias opinion. The apps were the best part and I ordered the steak for the second time and it was just ok, I could do better at my house. The drinks were good, but to second another review it was TERRIBLY HOT inside. I mean I was sweating it was so hot and humid. I’m not sure Ill go back unless I’m looking to party and not worried about the food etc. It’s a good spot if your looking to get down.
My friend and I try a new restaurant in Dallas every single week and we have been to Georgie twice. It is the only restaurant we have broken our “no places twice” rule because because the first time was a phenomenal experience ! The service beginning when you walk In the door to when you walk out the door deserves 5 stars. We waited at the bar and grabbed a drink, sat and enjoyed the delicious bread and butter, had the incredibly delicious salad and 8 oz filet for dinner, and topped it off with the banana bread desert. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Thank you for giving us an experience that leaves us feeling excited to dress up and dine out. Xo Caroline
Our food arrived so late, we ended up eating 3 baskets of bread (which is delicious, btw). Our meals were good, nothing to rave about. Not inclined to go back for a long while. Too many other great spots in Dallas!
Great evening. Excellent service.
Very pleasant experience -
service was amazing!
food was Perfect!
Sam, our waiter was superb, and the whitefish salad and pancakes with bacon on the brunch menu were delicious.
The restaurant was very pretty and pretty loud. The drinks were good, but expensive. I enjoyed the $25 Manhattan. The house salad and the steak tartare were both excellent. The $110 steak was full of fat. I probably could not eat 40% of it and it was way overpriced!
The waitress did not check on us after we were served. I would have loved a glass of wine with my steak but only the water people were coming by. I asked them for the waitress, Emily, but she did not return for at least 30 minutes.
We will not return! A big rip off.
Great meal, service!
We visited during Mother’s Day brunch, and they got just about everything right. Robert, our server, provided excellent service. The bacon scone is addictive, add to that the jalapeño butter and oh my! The charcuterie cart had a nice variety with the wagyu being as good as it expected. The pecan praline sauce on the pancakes was rich and silky sweet goodness. The only mark missed was on the soft scrambled eggs with the filet, they got a little over cooked (but c’mon, I’m not gonna really nitpick on brunch and on Mother’s Day). Little touches like making an off menu chocolate milk for a kiddo, and extra effort in having to track down change for a large bill for the valet made the service stand out as more than worth the extra price tag.
Excellent restaurant! We had the sausage, tartare and white asparagus as appetizers - the bone in filet and boneless ribeye as mains. All perfectly prepared and delicious. Definitely a restaurant we’ll be coming back to.
Kinda hot inside. Great food. Great service. Decent value.
Our dinner at Georgie was wonderful. Cocktails and wine were excellent, but it was the food that stole the show. We ordered vegetable sides as appetizers (charred beans and creamed spinach--we ate every bite) and then tucked into our meat selections (venison and rib-eye). Best steak we've had in Dallas.
We will be back!
Will be returning to my now favorite restaurant in DTX.
Everything from the food to the service to the cocktails and decor was absolutely perfect! The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and personable and we loved the pairing that he suggested. We will absolutely be returning to dine again!
