I've always had good food in the past. This time my friend and I ordered the crab cakes. They consisted of 1/3 crabmeat and 2/3 filling. They were Awful.

The suppli was off. Usually it is crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. Both orders had cold cheese on the inside. Literally cold to the touch. The chicken also tasted different. Maybe it’s a different chef. The ambience is always pleasant.

Wonderful supper! Love George’s patio & Friday was no exception. The food was excellent; we enjoyed a Caesar salad (subbed the lemon mint dressing, which was outstanding!), and the rigatoni allá vodka (sauce was very flavorful, (tho wished for a bit more Italian sausage)

This is really such a lovely place, wonderful outdoor space and a lovely indoor dining room. And somehow, even when full, the noise level is manageable. There were four of us and the food was excellent! Not surprising because this has been our experience on previous visits. Our main issue, however, is that there were simply not enough employees to handle the regular crowd plus a huge table outdoors, easily 16 people. The staff was hustling like crazy and very apologetic about the long waits for drinks, entrees and desserts but they were simply overwhelmed. The big table clearly had a reservation because it was all set up when we arrived. With that kind of a large group there should have been extra staff on hand. It definitely impacted our experience. We are looking at this as a one time experience and plan to return again. But there are lessons to be learned!
