Perfect as always
Food good, service very good,no draft beer a problem. Very noisy.
Wow! Talk about being over impressed. When we first walked in we weren’t sure if this place would live up to the hype.. but it far exceeded our expectations. Shannon was a wonderful server. The wagyu steak was BY FAR one of the best steaks we’ve ever had (this includes Berns!) Everything was wonderful. My only suggestion would be to mention the $20+ difference in price between the steak on the menu and the special. We totally thought it was worth it and didn’t mind paying it but for some people that might be a big deal.
Wonderful time. Food was fantastic
Birthday dinner with family. Excellent food and service.
Very good food and service!
This place is amazing! I went for brunch and had the short rib Mac and cheese and it was soooo delicious! I had a few holiday drinks and I just wanted to try them all. I can’t wait to go back for dinner!
Food and service was outstanding!
This place is always our go to fire awesome food. Never had a bad meal. They have unique specials and a seasonal menu with meals that will leave you full, yet ready to come back for more at another time! They have fun drinks and their coffee packs a punch. Go there and you will definitely enjoy your experience.
Enjoyed brunch. The menu selection and food were wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.
Jesse offered his help to us today as our server and he was delightful! Thoroughly enjoyed his attentiveness and professional flare. The food was outstanding! We split the vegetable feature salad and it was well portioned and stunningly displayed.
I love this place! A beautiful restaurant with a first class staff. The menu is clever, delicious and the food is presented beautifully. Wine list was surprisingly sublime (for a bistro/pub). Has an outstanding buffet if you are there on a weekend. Very close to Pensacola's mall. I liked everything, but here's the question I will answer. Would I go again when visiting Pensacola? Absolutely.
We had a very nice waitress named Cassidy that was attentive and recommended some great drinks for us to try!
Usually the total experience is amazing at George Bistro. This visit we were a little disappointed. To start the evening, they did not have the cocktail that I was looking forward to. They said it was seasonal and although the bartender did not offer to make something similar, the waitress recommended another drink that I might like. The octopus appetizer did not have much flavor which surprised me since I had eaten it before. My husband enjoyed his mussels. The bone marrow that I ordered was delicious as usual and the Lamb was good. Our waitress was attentive and sweet and the ambiance was festive for the holidays yet nice and quiet.
I was sorry that the food was not consistent with our past experiences at George. We will come again, but it was quite a drive for us and I hope that our next visit will be worth it.
Excellent. The meal, the service, the place... everything was excellent. The bone marrow was perfectly cooked -- it was hot and yet not melted. The file mignon was a thick cut of meat cooked exactly how I ordered it. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience.
Get the tomahawk!
We absolutely love George Bistro! The bar is incredible. The food is fresh. Service is superb!
George Bistro is great food , have been there several times and food always delivers!!!
My one constructive criticism is they should try to honor requests, As I have always made reservations a few days ahead before our meal date, reservation with request for a booth and once we get there , they never have a booth 🥴
Another time I was with a large party 11 or 12 Again with reservation in advanced.... we get there and we waited 45 min🙈to be seated
So it would just feel more customer service oriented if they did honor request
I still value the original menu and delicious food 😉😊
George never disappoints. Food and service are both wonderful. It is always worth the drive from Mary Esther. The outside porch is a real plus.
Food was absolutely phenomenal! Went for brunch, and by far the best brunch I’ve had! Truly a gem. Service was outstanding as well. If you like handcrafted cocktails 100% try their cocktail menu! I got three different seasonal drinks and they were all delicious!
Always great food and drinks. It was very busy yet our server was attentive and took care of business! Food looked and tasted wonderful. Drinks are tasty and FULL pours. Not this half glass pours you get at some establishments. 😉
We already have plans to go back and I can’t wait. 🤩
Great menu, but not as tasty as hoped. Service was friendly and warm.
The food was excellent and the service was also very good, particularly given it was 9PM on Christmas Eve. My value rating goes to the special which was a $60 beef dish which was very good but the amount seemed over the top.
Lovely Christmas Eve Lunch
Our favorite brunch spot in Pensacola! The food is always delicious and they have an amazing seasonal drink menu.
First, I was a little annoyed that I had a reservation and had to wait while people came in without a reservation and were seated immediately. The weather was cold and rainy and waiting outside was not an option for me, so we were all huddled in front of the door. We were finally seated 20 minutes after my reservation time and then had to wait another 15 minutes to get waited on.
This is NOT a typical George Bistro happening, but I had brought a friend who had never dined there and then to wait and have slow service and so so food..... I know they were not impressed and I was embarrassed.
The food and service was great the only reason dinged George's on this visit is we had reservation but had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated . It is Christmas so we sat and told stories and laughed until our table was ready.
Absolutely amazing experience! George’s never disappoints!
As always..we had a great meal this evening. But be warned...if it’s a special..ask the price.. especially if you are everyday dining.... the tomahawk at $125 that we got it a few months ago without asking price or the seafood “appetizer” tonight that’ was $65...(we did not order because we learned to ask). If we were eating in a quiet, fine dining..25 seat/top restaurant, I could understand the higher prices... The food is really good but the “specials” are not priced in line with the “menu” prices...so just ask. We dine here a couple times a month and feel like we need to pass along this observation.
Absolutely lovely, wonderful service and food! A great place to have dinner any night and especially a birthday dinner. Highly recommend to a friend!!
wonderful food, server very knowledgeable about menu, great gimlets but very loud.was very crowded so perhaps normally would be a little more quiet
Great food and service
Excellent Food seafood salads excellent service excellent place
We just love George. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. The food is always great and fun. Even the drinks are fun. They’re always changing it up to do something interesting and tasty. I do wish they’d allow their happy hour to go later than 5:00! A great time .
The Mac and Cheese with ribs was excellent!!
The weather was nice so we sat outside. I had a half order of the French toast and a side of 2 scrambled eggs - perfect portion size. See photo.
My wife and I loved this restaurant. The ambiance was rustic but classy, and the service was fantastic. Our server’s name was George, and he was very attentive. I was very impressed with the cocktails and the bone marrow appetizer. Both of our entrees were incredible as well: I got the Braised Short Ribs and my wife got the Alfredo Pappardelle. Prices were pretty standard for the area with respect to their level of quality and service. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in Pensacola looking for a nice place to have some delicious food and/or beverages.
