Pretty place but the buffet was very minimal. Not worth the price.

Wonderful evening at Genting Palace. Our waiter Yao was very helpful with our selections, Peggy the manager frequently checked in on us. Food was delicious, portions nice for us to share. I checked out the buffet despite eating al la carte, it looked real good and a nice value at 68.88 per person. We will definitely go back next time we have cravings for Chinese and are at Resorts World.

Genting Palace is amazing! While small, almost every item at he buffet is top notch and made in house. You can tell the team focus on delivering quality over quantity. As someone who lives in a predominantly Chinese area in LA and has access to restaurants that serve high quality Peking Duck, Siu Yuk (Crispy Pork Belly), and Dim Sum, we were shocked about how comparable the quality is. The fact that you can get these dishes AYCE for $69 is an absolute steal given how Peking Duck alone can cost this much (and probably won’t be as good) The servers are also very attentive and personable without being in your face, and you can tell that the staff manning the carving station for the duck and take great pride in the food they serve. Even the tea and cocktails are great! As long as you go in with the expectation that this restaurant is a high end Chinese restaurant with a buffet option and not a Las Vegas style Buffet, you’ll have a great time!

Dined there at 5pm on a Wed for the buffet. The place was dead. About an hour after I were there, they finally had a few more tables. Food was decent. $70 for the buffet may not be the best value as you can do better at the Wynn unless Peking duck is your thing. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

It is a beautiful environment but the service leaves much to be desired. We were seated at a lovely table. Then waited and waited. And waited some more. Finally I asked another waiter walking by if we could order. He seemed terribly confused. Nothing happened for a long time. Finally I got up and asked the person who sat us at the front if we could get a waiter. Finally a new trainee came to our table who was extremely nice but apologized that this was only his second day. More wait. Food finally came and crab fried rice was good way but over priced. The crispy chicken we ordered was small but also overpriced. I suppose if you do not care about price or service this is ok. But would never go there again.

Great restaurant overall, it has great service, but the food to pick from for the buffet was too little.

A sumptuous buffet with unlimited traditional Cantonese specialties, dumplings, Peking duck, pork belly, and a diverse seafood selection, including split crab legs, scallops, oysters, lobsters, whelks, clams, and shrimps, complemented by outstanding fine dining service.

The buffet is on the smaller side. A picture I had seen had showed king crab legs, but on the Wed night I went, it was snow crab legs that were salty and dryish. Good oysters, scallops, and cocktail shrimp. Went mostly for the Peking duck, which was excellent. Braised pork was also very good. The main veg was green beans with fish cakes. Starches included potatoes in the braised pork belly (with abalone!), fried rice (skipped), and some shrimp noodles (dry shrimp). Dim sum was good but nothing special. There is not a dessert bar per se, but there is a fruit tray with melons and some scant berries. You could order ala carte. Staff was friendly, but refills of my tea were very slow. It is more set up as a sit down restaurant, which would be a better experience.
