Ristorante Gemelli is a unique dining experience in Italian dining, bringing the best of North and South Italian cuisine in a comfortable, delightful atmosphere.

Ristorante Gemelli is the natural progression from the family's gourmet food market down the street which has been a staple in Babylon since 1988 and has been a Mecca for fine Italian food on the South Shore. Gemelli Fine Foods and Ristorante Gemelli is family owned and operated.

Ristorante Gemelli opened its door in 1997. It is tastefully decorated in the Mediterranean style with subdued lighting, cream colored walls with sea foam green and brick accents, and atrium with high ceilings and gracefully draped curtains. Candle lit tables and Italian music softly playing in the background add a romantic touch to this comfortable, airy dining room, one of the prettiest on Long Island. Both the quality of the food and the restaurant's atmosphere combine to ensure that guests have a positive experience.

The hostess was so sweet and so accommodating took care of us right away and moved us from one table to the other upon our request which made our dining much more enjoyable. The food was delicious and their chef prepared a meal for me that was not on the menu. The only drawback was our waiter he seemed to have no patience a bit of an attitude and never checked on us throughout our meal other than that we had a fabulous experience and would recommend you go and enjoy.

The food at Gemelli's is always fantastic. The Chicken Marsala, the veal dishes are all so good and so are all the pasta dishes. The owner makes you feel very comfortable and you feel like hw in inviting you into his home. Everyone is super nice. Perfect Sunday night dinner with family.

My husband and I haven’t been here in a while but I made a reservation last minute on a Saturday night. We were very pleasantly surprised at the amazing meal and service (Giuseppe was awesome), and we even sat near the fireplace for a wonderful ambiance. We are putting this back on our “regular” dinner out list.
