   Had a lovely dinner at Gaylord's. I am Indian and I hate eating Indian food outside of the home as it's usually rubbish, but I would be happy to eat at Gaylord's again. Also the food is halal.

   Having visited this restaurant twice before I had hoped for an equally good experience, but the ambience was very flat, the service curt, and the food decidely average. With so much choice in the capital, I wn't be making a return.

   We visited on a bank holiday Sunday evening. The restaurant was roughly one third full, which left the ambience OK, nice and relaxed. However considering the amount of people there, the service was relatively poor. The food is great but even with 30% off we were still left with a £90 bill for two, without desserts, so pound for pound it could have been a little better.

   We had a 6;30 weekday reservation and when we arrived, there was no one else in the restaurant. But within an hour, the place was packed. The service was very attentive although our waiter was very business-like rather than 'friendly'. Didn't matter. The food was wonderful especially the lamb korma and black dal. The garlic naan was the best I've ever had. For three adults, we additionally ordered a chicken tandoori and rice and had plenty to eat. With 3 beers, the total bill was 89£. I would describe this restaurant as upscale Indian so if you are looking for that kind of ambience with excellent food, Gaylord will not disappoint.

   I enjoyed my meal here but it was on the expensive side for a curry. The TopTable 20% deal helped! I will go back.

   It was a good experience as always though starter portion was quite small. Without top table 50% off it can be rather expensive but with the offer it is still expensive about 40£ for 2 with a coke each 2 starters and 2 main courses no dessert quite a nice great once a while..

   Excellent food! Bit of a wait when we got there but not a problem as we had booked and our table was ready. Very busy but we were served promptly. Hadn't had dishes like here since India.

   Food was ok, over priced for what it was. Service was very poor, had to wait an age for drinks, had to ask several times, starters were bought out seperately, so no one could eat together, made a point of requesting the mains were all bought out together, but of course the same happened again. Complained and were told they were on their way. What didn't help was they had one person bringing food to everyone in the restaurant and the management just swanning round taking orders!! Wouldn't go there again or recommend!!
